His soul fragmented, cracked, and tearing apart as the edges of madness claw at his mind, the Urge a jagged whisper in the dark. Will Shadow find his peace or will he succumb to the madness that claws so hungrily at his mind?
Lost within, Shadow fights not just himself. The world sees only the darkness.
Shadow fled Baldur's Gate and his beloved Astarion's arms, fearing he would only bring him pain,. Yet the fates draw him back into the storm.

So this is my original dark urge's character background, trying to tie it to as canon as possible but i only know so much, it sets from when Sceleritas Fel first gets in contact with the dark urge and then it goes from there.
theres dark shit going on in here, so far (chapter 15) theres:

Durge was adopted by a few drow that came up to the surface to trade, found him and brought him back, he was after all a drow himself, so clearly someone was looking for him.
Nobody ever came to claim him, nor had anyone ever seen him, he was a mystery baby.
The couple became his parents, they raised him with as much love and affection they would their own, which they had just lost a few weeks before they found him.
They thought maybe it was a blessing from some God, maybe their goddess, though it didn't fit her teachings.Series

Aerys never intended to honor their promise to the Lord of Murder to destroy the world in his name. They had a plan: to milk the power of their bloodline for all it was worth, and then usurp the Father who abandoned them. Taking control of the Netherbrain—a creature that has already displayed an inclination to turn on its masters—and betraying Astarion, the one person in the world they've come to care for, simply isn't on the table.
But after destroying the Absolute, Aerys's arrogance and ambition finally catches up to them. The Dark Urge takes over, shattering their mind as punishment for their disobedience. Yet Bhaal didn’t account for one thing: love. And Astarion isn't about to let his sweet conflicted villain go gently into the night.
Perhaps Aerys's plans for bloody vengeance and murderous godhood aren't off the table after all.
____A followup to the Dark Urge ending where they embraced Bhaal at the temple then destroyed the netherbrain, but did not kill themself, instead getting taken over by the Urge.

Joan Lebedev is plagued by dark thoughts and fragmented memories of a night in the woods with her fiancé and their friends. She can not fully remember what happened, all she knows is that she is not the woman she was before.
She tries her best to continue on with school the best she can; tries to push away the thoughts that consume her. It all comes to a tipping point though when she awakes in one of the classrooms late at night, not knowing how she got there.
Whatever happened at school late at night has left her with some sort of ailment. An ailment that her and a handful of other students share. Some of which being the people who were in the woods with her that night. She is torn between siding with her fiancé and her friends who have amassed some sort of blood-cult or the ragtag group of other students.
Joan must purge this illness and darkness that is consuming her and the university before it, and everyone in it, crumbles to blackened ash.
