Upon meeting a rambunctious five-year-old Luffy and his older brothers Ace and Sabo, Rosinante suddenly finds himself the father of not only one boy, but four. Cue shenanigans and an extremely distracting red-haired pirate and his equally as frustrating, hawk-eyed boyfriend.

For a brief second, Sabo really wanted to interfere. The sword in his hand wasn’t his trusty seastone-covered pipe, but he could cover it with haki and it would work just the same against Akainu’s logia powers.
He could step in front of Strawhat. Sabo was a bit far, but still closer than Fire Fist, and with how little energy he spent in this war so far, he was fast enough to make it.
There was nothing stopping him from saving the Strawhat. And probably Fire Fist, too, considering the guy seemed desperate to throw himself in the way and Sabo doubted he knew what haki even was, let alone how to wield it.
He really wanted to step in but, in the end, Sabo didn’t.
These two pirates, young as they were, signed their own death warrants when they decided upon their career. Sabo still had his mission to finish, and he couldn’t sabotage it all for a couple of rookies.
Or: By pure chance, Sabo just so happened to be undercover in Marineford when Ace's execution was scheduled to happen.
Unfortunately for him, he gets his memories back a bit too late to fix things.

No se había dado cuenta en ese entonces. Por supuesto que no se había dado cuenta. En ese entonces, todo era muy diferente a lo que recordaba. Era imposible que fuera eso y nunca estableció la conexión entre las dos cosas. Sólo a la persona más loca e ida de la cabeza se le ocurriría algo así. Y, bueno, vale. Él no era exactamente el más cuerdo en esos momentos, podía admitirlo, igual que era seguramente la persona más ida de la cabeza de ese entonces, eso no lo dudaba. Pero no se le ocurrió eso.
¿A quién se le ocurriría que no solamente había sido reencarnado, sino que había reencarnado en One Piece, cuando reencarnó más de ocho siglos atrás? Pues a nadie, esa es la jodida respuesta.
Tuvo suerte de tener una amiga. Pero esa amiga murió y todo a partir de entonces fue hacia abajo, de eso ya solamente recordaba borrones. Y, de repente, en algún momento tuvo que dormirse durante mucho tiempo y volvió a recuperar consciencia cuando ese niño acabó de tragar el primer mordisco de la Akuma no Mi. Cayó en cuenta de que había nacido en One Piece. Hacía más de ocho siglos al menos.
Y él se había convertido en leyenda tras siglos al que llamaban Nika, el dios del Sol y el libertador de esclavos.
