The militia spot an airship crashing not too far from the ruins of ACE Chemicals. At first, Scarecrow is content to sit in his little corner and do whatever he pleases while the soldiers do all the work. That is, until only a handful of survivors run back out, claiming to have been attacked by "a giant crocodile monster thing".
Upon hearing that, the good doctor heads into the ship by himself. After all, he and his old friend have a lot of catching up to do, and it's been a long and lonely night.
