Summary
Genma's world is ending. He's a time bomb waiting to go off, inoculations given over a decade ago only serving to extend his ever ticking clock longer than normal. Already entangled in a massive cross country trip to look for a cure up at a northern Heike compound, he follows one of his oldest friends a in a bid to get the ingredients of the cure to the facility in one piece. Unfortunately, said ingredients are sporting ludicrously pink hair and an attitude to match that makes their job that much harder, for all he that he's fond of her. Grappling with his own mortality and looming undeath, Genma just wants to get the payday that would ensure his partner's continued success, for all he may not live to see it.
And maybe, if he lets himself indulge in wishful thinking, someone over there will be able to help him before the 'shrooms finally get to his mind.

A story where Kakashi learns to lean on others just a little earlier, and gives Tsunade a reason to return home, Naruto and Sasuke a family, Sakura an identity, Gai peace of mind, and himself a little bit of hope for the future of the village.
[Basically an entire fix-it plot re-write of Naruto where I fix a lot of the mischaracterization/lost opportunities, mend plot holes, and add in some chakra and jutsu theory because I feel like it.]

My mother always said I reminded her of a hurricane. I'm unsure if that was a compliment or a fear, but I guess she was right...

She always looked sad as she looked out at the raging waves, her fingers dancing over the golden pendant around her neck. The wind and rain would rattle the windows and she would smile.
She wasn't enough of a hurricane to tame my father. I remember that much of him. His violent temper and raging steel eyes, always looking for the next opportunity to rip the world apart with his bare hands. But she was the sun that rose in the west after it was all over. The humanity of the people putting the town back together, brick by brick.
I'm not sure what I am... but I'm a lot scarier than a hurricane

Among those of normal repute are the giants, those that transcend the abilities of the common man.Tobirama grew up around these giants. He was one of them, a God of Shinobi. But, even gods grow weary. Even gods become tired of showcasing their talents and fighting for a cause over and over. So, Tobirama passed his title to the next Hokage. Tobirama chose to go down fighting as he protected his team and village from those that sought its destruction.
Just as he felt like he was dying, he found his salvation. Senju Tobirama never expected to be saved by a Golden goddess, never expected the kindness of a swordswoman. She proved him wrong time and time again with her kindness and acceptance. Tobirama could not imagine starting a family with anyone else, and he never imagined that that choice would lead to the birth of the future Fourth Hokage, and eventually, his granddaughter Uzumaki Akihane Naru.
Her story would change the surface of the world, throwing events into place that the world would never forget.

Ling Yao fell to his death on the Promised Day with lingering regrets and the taste of ashes in his mouth. The Xing Prince opened his eyes to a new world where he became the heir to a prestigious clan, the Hyuuga Clan. Weighed down by his failures to become the Xingese Emperor, Ling vows to use his second chance to become the ruler he wished to be - a ruler for his people.
In other words, Ling Yao is reborn and is very unimpressed with the state of politics of Konohagakure. He decides to revamp his entire clan system, collect a number of powerful allies and rallies to remove the bird cage seal.

Summary

Something about a secret but expensive wristwatch. Nothing too serious, really, not even too much sex appeal, just enough to charm the target into opening some doors, possibly safes. But there is this nagging bad feeling about the mission and the place, that Kakashi can’t shake off. And then there’s Genma in the middle of it all… Charming, and too damn sexy for his own good.
