It starts off as any regular Tuesday.
Wil arrives home from school, sulking after another long and tedious day of pointlessness.
Middle school is horrendous. Kids are too loud, teachers are lousy, and topping that with Wil’s own early stage of teenage angst is the full package.
All in all, the only good time of day is coming home and doing whatever the heck he wants.
And what he wants to do is hop on the couch to binge watch movies while shoving cookies in his mouth.
Ah, what bliss that would bring him.

Wil comes back home for peace. But with an essay to write and one step away from his emo phase, he doesn't get that. And those tiny dumb flying ants. Those tiny, dumb. Winged. Freaks. Are not making it any better. In fact, they make it worse. Bless Phil, with his #1 Dad Mug.

As if the digital world had a sense of humor, her wish was granted. A strange ant colony kidnapped almost everyone, leaving Pomni as the one left behind.
