Summary

After defeating more than one ‘malevolent-entity-claiming-to-know-what’s-best-for-humanity’ and saving the world, the Phantom Thieves were done. Years passed and everyone moved on, got lost in their own lives, sporadically kept in touch with each other.
Makoto Niijima was no exception – finishing her degree and getting a job in the police force were just the first steps on the way to becoming the commissioner and changing the system from within. A tough job, but she was content with how things were turning out so far.
Unfortunately for Makoto, this self-imposed fate had its own ideas.An excuse to write some new Metaverse locations connected more with mythology and deities. Main focus on Makoto but shifting POVs later as acts advance.

Summary
After managing to escape the interrogation room with his life thanks to Sae, Ren is recovering from his physical injuries. However, he finds the scars on his heart inflicted by Akechi’s betrayal, and from being drugged and beaten in the interrogation room, are taking far longer to heal.
This is Ren’s healing journey, aided by his friends in the Phantom Thieves, and confidants he trusts to build himself back up piece by piece. Here be trauma and angst, but also healing and heartwarming moments as Ren learns to find comfort in others. Which is a bit of a surprise for Ren when he finds the individual he finds comfort in the most being the local airsoft shop owner, and ex-mobster, Munehisa Iwai.

He is forced to move from his hometown and he has to live in Shibuya with his uncle for his suspension. When he transferred to Shujin Academy, he met Ren Amamiya, who just like him was falsely accused for a crime he didn't commit, and was put on probation.
When the two and a boy from Shujin accidentally stumble into a mysterious world thanks to a mysterious app called the Meta-Nav and they learn they can steal hearts of unruly adults and corrupt people as they don their masks to learn the truth of their world and stop the coming ruin.
