Summary
Belle and Rumpelstiltskin are more than just Beauty and the Beast. They're an intellectual power couple with a cosmic mission. As they struggle to balance Light and Darkness in their relationship, the realms follow their lead. Though some readers might call this story an Alternate Universe, it sticks close to the canon timeline and dialogue, so I say it's more of an alternative interpretation. Set almost entirely in Fairy Land before the Curse, new missing scenes create a mythology that fills in the series' plot holes and inconsistencies. Readers who believe that Belle was right about Rumple being a good man will appreciate it. The story opens when Belle is returning to her father's palace after her secret trip to Arendelle.
