Summary
No one needed Tim Drake, but Tim Drake still needed to be needed. And well, who better to choose than the one person who could never stop needing him?
So inherently broken that his job would never be finished. Yet so unfortunately resilient that he would never be left the sole survivor. And so desperate to serve that he would never be betrayed again.
In other words, no one else needed Tim Drake, but certainly, he knew there was someone who could make use of his particular skill set.
-

Summary
Tim is still teetering back and forth between this being real life or a vicious hallucination induced by self-imposed isolation, Timothy is waiting with fuckin bated breath for the moment Tim accepts this reality and decides what he wants from it, and both of them are trying to pretend the outside world doesn’t actually exist because they don’t want to think about the fact that Tim will have to go back to school eventually
(and what will Timothy do then? will he make himself a student? a part of the staff? become a creep in the ceilings?)
anyway. these will be scenes during their first summer vacation while they settle in and try to figure out their dynamic…just random moments as they discover things and eventually plan out what they’re gonna do in the future

Summary
just me yelling about the state of Timothy’s self-image and new brand of morality :) trying out various styles to say “life and death mean nothing to me now. only staying with you. whatever that means. no matter the cost.”
(oh you thought the first fic was Timothy being ready to be Healthy about Self-Care? absolutely not, he’s made a new form of self-care that no one else can touch.)

Summary
Logically, Timothy knew if he wanted to be like other people, people who deserved to be loved and cared for, he had to be willing to completely reinvent himself, to tear out all the things that made him impossible to stay with. Then (hopefully) after enough time, once Tim learned to mimic Timothy, they could both be other people…or at least convincing imitations.
-
Something was inherently wrong with Tim Drake, but with two of them on the job, he knew they could fix it. They could fix each other.
After all, this was what they were made for.

Summary
When Timothy first came here, when the—he left everything behind. And he thought, this new world, this new life, it would free him from that shit. After all, what could he possibly have to stress over now? Compared to getting declared fucking insane to the entire hero community, having to search the world for proof of
hisBatman alone, being pursued by a centuries-old demon head, grieving his friends and family with only pity or condescension for support, losing—just, every single thing that was going on back there, none of it followed him here.So why couldn’t his body keep up and maybe not throw a fucking fit over shit that didn’t matter anymore?

Summary
the Tims are making no effort to seek out the people Timothy used to know, but that doesn’t mean those people aren’t drawn to Timothy anyway
(this is sorta the same as Forbidden Thoughts since it’s just me fucking around with scenarios I shouldn’t think about for too long…but not entirely separate aus, just alternate timelines. I decided to make it its own thing since there are speaking characters/povs other than just Tim Drake. tbh this is probably the only time I’ll handle other characters in this series)
