Captain Catrìona Fowlis is actively fighting in the Second Scottish Rebellion in the year 2138 when she finds herself in the year 1743. Now finding herself among the roots of the revolution that she knows, she must choose whether she wishes to return back to her own time, and the fiancé she left behind, or stay and, perhaps, make a change that could save the lives of not only the Scots of the 18th century, but the Scots of her own time as well. But what happens when she meets the man who makes her consider giving up everything she knew?
