Summary
"Derek! What the hell!?!?!" Stiles asked, looking ready to jump out of his skin.
"I've been trying to get your attention for the last 10 minutes. What language were you speaking just now?" Derek asked, letting go of the teens shoulders and taking a step back.
Stiles blinked in confusion for a moment before understanding the question, a look of surprise on his face. "Oh! Polish." He said the second part dismissively, waving a hand in the air as he turned to begin pacing again.
Derek raised a brow at the teen and watched him start to walk back and forth again. "You speak a second language? And it's Polish, of all things? Why Polish?"

Summary
Three seconds later the window was sliding open and Stiles was sticking his head out to squint at Derek. "I'm making curly fries, do you want some or do you want to sit out here and keep pretending like I don't know you've been hanging out on my roof every night for the last two weeks?"
Derek's face dropped into a look for shock. "How the hell did you know I was out here?"
Stiles huffed a sigh and rolled his eyes "Dad saw you the first night he went back to work and texted me asking why the hell you were skulking around the roof. Now do you wanna come in or do you actually enjoy freezing your ass off out here all night."
Stiles disappeared back into his room before Derek could reply.

Summary
Of course the more time Stiles and Malia spent together the more obvious it became to Stiles that he had a bigger problem than the nagging feeling that they wouldn't last. He had feelings for Derek. Sure he had always found Derek attractive, but this was a whole other level beyond the whole 'He's pretty' set of feelings.
Nope. Screw that. Stiles was not going to think about the broody wolf bastard who spent over a month making him feel like a human being again only to up and abandon him without so much as a goodbye. He was not going to waste any more thoughts on that Sourwolf.

Summary
Stiles was actually impressed with how things worked out. Up until the Jeep broke down in the middle of the freaking desert. "No, właśnie teraz idiota musiał się zepsuć.." He grumbled as he tried to figure out what the hell happened to the engine.
"Stiles. English." Lydia chided, pointing the flashlight in his face momentarily before point it where his hands were buried in the engine again.
Stiles squinted at her and with a huff repeated himself in English "I said 'stupid Jeep had to break now'.." He grit out before focusing his attention back on the engine.

Summary
A little insight into what Stiles was actually thinking when he told Scott that Malia was sneaking into his house at night.
"This means you guys are together, right? You're dating?" Scott asked, sounding a little hopeful that his friend finally found someone.
Stiles chooses to dodge the question, knowing if he says the wrong thing Scott will call him out on it. "Sometimes, the way she looks at me, I think she knows I'm not telling her something."
"You mean Peter." Scott says it as a statement, not a question.
Stiles swallows hard and thinks 'And that I'm hopelessly in love with her cousin, ya'know the one that she knows nothing about that we just rescued from Mexico'. "You gotta tell her, Scott," He says nervously instead.

"You, uh.. You know you can trust me, right? I really do want to help you." He said honestly, glancing at the wolf out of the corner of his eye before focusing his attention back on the road.
Derek raised a brow, eyeing Stiles a little suspiciously. "For someone who says I can trust them you don't exactly radiate trustfulness. You smell anxious, like you're hiding something from me."
Stiles swallowed hard before glancing over again. "Yeah, well, I always smell anxious, one of the perks of having anxiety disorder. And besides, can you blame me for being anxious? We found you barely conscious in a tomb full of wolfsbane! And yeah, I may be hiding some things, but they have nothing to do with your current situation. I swear. I would never do anything to hurt you, Derek. You can trust me," Stiles silently prayed that Derek didn't catch him in a lie.

Summary
Derek left, trying not to think about the fact that in the time he was gone Stiles had found someone else. Or that the thought of Stiles with someone else made his chest ache worse than it had when he would overhear the teen trying to convince himself he was fine.
So he went back to the loft. Curled up on the couch since Braeden was currently passed out in his bed, and made himself go to sleep. He had enough to worry about, he did not need to dwell on the fact that Stiles didn't need him anymore.

"Ghost Riders? Seriously. I leave for a year and half of the town was taken by the Ghost Riders?"
"And that's just what happened in the last three months." Chris interjected.

"So, how long have you been back," he asked, skipping all pleasantries now that he could get an actual response.
"About 5 hours," Derek answered, voice softer than he meant it to be.
Stiles nodded, accepting the answer. "Alright. Why are you back?"
"I needed to see you," Derek answered honestly, letting his gaze drop to the expanse of grass between the two of them.
"Me? You needed to see me? Why?" Stiles asked incredulously.

Summary
Before Derek realized what he was doing he was back in wolf form and running. He didn't stop until he reached the loft, finally shifting back and grabbing his discarded clothes from where he had set them in the back of the SUV before quickly throwing on his jeans and flopping down onto the pavement to catch his breath.
He spent several minutes just sitting on the cool concrete trying to clear his head. Realizing there wasn't much hope of that, he dragged himself up and went inside. Stiles may not want to see him right now, but he wasn't going to leave because of that. He just couldn't. He was done running.

Summary
Stiles finally cleared his throat and Derek straightened up, expecting the inevitable order to get lost. "Did Mr. Argent tell you how the others brought me back?" He asked, voice smell, quiet, eyes flicking back and forth between the light green ones of the wolf in front of him.
Derek went to say no, forgetting he was in wolf form for a brief moment, and ended up letting out a yip before tilting his head curiously, ears flicking towards Stiles before turning downward slightly.
Stiles blinked at the wolf's response. "I'm gonna take that as a no... Since, ya'know, you can't really talk like that..." He waved a hand at Derek's wolf body before bringing it up to rub at the back of his neck and speaking again. "Lydia was with me, when the Riders took me..." He said slowly. "She was the one who remembered me in the end and was able to bring me back..." Stiles trailed off, his expression and scent both growing heavy with sadness.

"Dude, seriously, go change back and put on some of my gym clothes or something. I'm starting to think of you like you're an actual wolf. It's unsettling." He gave a quick shake of his head, like he was trying to not think about it.
Derek picked his head up from where it had been resting on his paws and looked up at the teen, head tilting in confusion.
"Seriously, go!" He ordered, licking his lips in that subconscious nervous tick that Derek was fairly certain Stiles was unaware he did half the time.

Summary
"Mischief..." Stiles mumbled back without missing a beat. He had passed out about 20 minutes ago while attempting to finish more of the backlog of homework he had from his three months spent in another dimension. Derek had taken pity on the teen, deciding to wake him in an hour with coffee and another dose of his adderall.
"What was that?" Derek asked, lowering the book he was currently reading, and shifting forward from his position on the end of Stiles' bed. He was used to hearing Stiles talk in his sleep, often in mumbled Polish. He even found if he asked the teen questions he would answer them more often than not.
"Not Stiles... Mischief..." He replied, nuzzling his face into his arm a little before letting out a sigh and speaking again."S'what my mom called me..."

They sat in a comfortable silence for over an hour before Stiles spoke. "Hey, Derek?" he asked, voice giving away that he was a little nervous.
Derek turned his head slightly, glancing at Stiles out the corner of his eye. "Yeah?"
"The, uh, the night you were taken by Kate, what happened?"

Summary
The last thing Derek remembered was laying back on Stiles' bed, a book held in his hands as he read to himself, Stiles humming something as he typed away at his laptop. The room was warm from the fast approach of summer, and while Stiles had a window open to let a breeze in, the heat was still enough to make Derek tired. And it didn't help that Stiles had a surprisingly comfortable bed. Basically it boiled down to warmth plus a good book and comfortable bed were a dangerous combination.
The next thing Derek knew there were warm hands gripping his shoulders and shaking him awake. An excited voice whisper yelling for him to wake up. "Derek! Derek, wake up! Dude, how are you this heavy a sleeper! Wake up!"
Derek's eyes snapped open, revealing Stiles leaning over him with a huge, toothy grin on his face as he looked down at the sleep rumpled wolf.
"What is it?" He asked, looking around the room expecting some threat to be present. Then he noticed the scent rolling off of Stiles. He was happy, excited even, not a single trace of anxiety left.
"I finished!" The teen exclaimed, pure glee evident in his voice.

"Na co mi aż tyle ciuchów?" Stiles asked himself in a frustrated tone as he balled up a shirt and threw it into the basket with a bit more force than necessary.
Derek cleared his throat, drawing Stiles' attention from the disaster before him. "I thought you said you had finished packing last night?" he asked with a small smirk.
Stiles glared up at the wolf currently occupying his doorway. "I had. And then dad reminded me that I never pack enough underwear or socks. Oh, and that I suck at packing so I should do the whole army roll thing to fit more clothes in my bag."

Summary
"So you're telling me that you have a degree in History, AND English, and that you totally could have helped me when I was trying to write all that AP homework over the last few weeks of school?" Stiles balked. "You bastard!" He added, dramatically clutched his chest like he was horribly offended.
"You never asked me for help." Derek countered, raising his a hand from the wheel to point at Stiles. "Besides, you did fine on your own. I read over some of your work after you would pass out for the night. It was good. If I had been the one teaching those classes I definitely would have passed you." He said with a small smile.
Stiles laughed "Yeah, and you're not being biased because I'm your boyfriend?" He teased.
"You weren't my boyfriend at the time." Derek retorted with a shrug.

When he looked down again he could see Derek at the bottom of the pile of rocks, front paws up on one of the boulders before him. He gave a small howl of disapproval and whined a bit before dropping back down so all four paws were on the sand again.
"What? Go back to running around, ya lunatic. I'll be fine up here." He shouted down at the wolf.
Derek glared up at Stiles, eyes glowing blue for a moment in a way that said 'be careful or I will kick your ass later' before he turned and took off down the beach again.

"How long have you been awake?" Derek asked, voice rough from sleep as he turned his head so his chin rested where his ear had been pressing in the center of the teens chest before.
Stiles hummed "Few minutes." He said with a small, sleepy shrug.
Derek yawned and brought a hand up to rub at his eyes before blinking down at Stiles. "Thanks for going with me last night.." He mumbled before sliding his body further up Stiles' and pressing a soft kiss to his lips

Summary
Nodding Stiles glanced over at him before looking back to the road. "Yeah, that place sucked. The lake was cool though."
"You're just saying that because I didn't like it." Derek teased, watching the teen attempt to focus on the long stretch of highway ahead and not him or the large field of cows they were currently driving past.
Stiles balked at the suggestion. "They didn't have curly fries at the diner! That's an insta-fail in my book."
Derek snorted a laugh. "Such high standards of dining."
"Rude. Shut up."Stiles grumbled before turning up the radio, effectively blocking any further communication from the sourwolf with the opening of Applause by Lady Gaga.
