What if Lelouch took Schneizel's king in episode 9 of R2? With Suzaku out of the picture, Lelouch takes the opportunity to turn the tables. But then he still has to deal with C.C., Suzaku, Nunnally, the Ragnarok Connection, Rolo, and every poor decision he's ever made.
And there have been quite a few. And, likely, there'll be a few more.

What if Kanon never followed Suzaku to his rendez-vous with Lelouch? Together, Suzaku and Lelouch can accomplish anything, including breaking down Lelouch's inherent mistrust of other people, even his father.
Sometimes the road to hell is paved with the best of intentions and not every turning point leads to a happier ending.
