Porter knows the shatter-stars don't have a 100% success rate. He wants to see if he can convince Jace to become his ally without using them, if he can help it.
Jace has a long-standing crush on Porter. He's lonely and bored and willing to overlook a lot for a bit of excitement. And out of nowhere, it seems like his attraction is (finally) being returned.
Set during the events of Freshman Year.

Set in Freshman Year, but with massive spoilers for Junior Year.
Partly inspired by Hostile Work Environment by mtothedestiel, and the myriad of memes about the two different evil cabals that were running around the Aguefort Adventuring Academy in Freshman Year.

Summary
Porter accidentally takes too much ambrosia and has a bad reaction. Jace doesn't have any healing spells, and is forced to use a spell he'd been keeping secret from Porter, wounding himself in the process. Porter has mixed feelings.
