Summary
The ceremony is surprisingly fancy, for a political marriage. The great hall of the Grace palace is a grandeur on its own, but when decorated for a wedding, it’s even more magnificent. The ceiling is enchanted to show the open sky, and stars glimmer through an expanse of darkness. On the sides, orbs of stored Shinsu magic hang from the walls. It works both as a light source and a testament to the power of the Grace Family. If Khun had been in any other person but the one he’s in now, he might have taken the time to appreciate the spectacle.
But as it is, he’s standing at the altar, watching his soon-to-be-husband and probably murderer walk up to him. Jyu Viole Grace betrays nothing in his expression, but his robes trail behind him, the gossamer sheen shimmering like the stars above. Khun’s robes are equally loose, meant to be easily stripped away. Aureate eyes meet cobalt blue.
