“I don’t,” he insists, and pushes his head into both of Izuku’s hands even more.

“Yeah,” Bakugo sighs and leans back on his hands, staring at the bracer. “I know. I’ll go,” his mouth twists a little. “I’ll go tomorrow. This is just- this is my design you know?” he’s not explaining himself very well, and refuses to look at Kirishima.
“It can be hard to give up your first hero design, and you did a great job,” Kirishima said. “You definitely had the best one out of all of us when we first got our costumes."
Bakugo hunched his shoulders. “I didn’t design it,” he grumbled.

"Oh, honey, you sweet, sweet, summer child. It's not Todoroki you have to worry about – they're just friends," Ashido says, shaking her head with a vicious grin.
"Really?!"
"No, you should be worrying about him," she says, jutting her chin forward to indicate something behind Kazuo.
As if on cue, a low, echoing growl travels through the halls, and Kazuo feels his heart immediately pick up, beating wildly in his chest and so hard it almost hurts.

5 times people don't realize that Deku is already in a very happy relationship and try their hand at asking him out, and then in Bakugou's unique and special style, get very firmly corrected, +1 time where no correction is needed.

Just like every other day, Izuku mumbled up a storm and about fifteen minutes later (a drastic increase from the measly three minutes he would have gotten in their first year), Katsuki turned to him and snapped. "Shut the fuck up nerd! I can barely hear myself think!"
And Izuku's jaw practically sealed itself shut. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't open his mouth to speak. Thankfully, he wasn't called on during the lesson, but that didn't mean he hadn't tried to participate. He just couldn't.

Izuku is hit by an obedience quirk, and he wonders who exactly he wronged in a past life to deserve this much bullshit.

Deku scoffs, pulling back slightly. "You underestimate me, sir." Scarred hands cup his face, and when Katsuki looks up, he sees a fierceness in those green eyes, burning bright with a determination that takes his breath away.
“Tell me, Kacchan—do I strike you as someone afraid to bleed?”
Katsuki lives alone in a small house in the woods. No one visits him, and no one bothers him, which is exactly how he likes it.
Then one day, a witch rolls into a nearby town and becomes its new apothecary.

Summary
It wasn't fair. Life played favorites and Midoriya Izuku was born snubbed. Some complained about bad hands and lost chips, some traded pawns and rooks, some shuffled kings and queens, while Izuku wasn't allowed a place at the table.
The screen flashed. Izuku’s characters smashed through mobs, plucking tails as they passed, strong, bright, heroic. A fantasy for a glass boy. He wished, not for the first, tenth, or even thousandth time, that his life took place in a game, a world where he could win. For once. No matter how perilous the playing field, he would carve out a place for himself between 1's and 0's.
If only things were so simple. If only the turns of a mind were transparent strings of code. If only the path into a heart was marked with waypoints and rat tails. If only they would follow you into the windy wilds, battle at your side across storm and cloud, and never turn their back on you so long as you watched theirs.
In which Izuku gets a quirk and Katsuki learns as he loses.
