Ninja Scroll has aged decently and animations are good, but lack the level of detail other shows from around that time had to offer (Bubblegum Crisis f.e). I personally found all characters to be shallow more or less and the story nothing too special, but still highly enjoyable due to the overall good presentation.
If your like action, combat and / or Ninjas, this is for you. Give it a shot.

An excellect classic! One of the first anime films I watched and still one of my all-time favorites! Nothing can compare to its dark ominous atmosphere...

Beautifully animated and designed. Not too much in the way of story but its definitely a pick up for the visuals alone.

Before i begin watching it i started to watch the series and this movie is a much better lots of fights and blood not to mention the plot which will make you exited most of the time.
Also the nice ending

this was my first anime, it was really surprising specially the ending but what we have is a samurai fighting a ninja demons, in this anime humanity been seen in it, really great a must see
