"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain,
something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent
Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth."
This a shrine of one of the greatest Anime ever - FMA (Fullmetal Alchemist). Elric Brothers forever.
Hi,
just noticed that the 2011 movie http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=8090 is not on the related anime list... Should get on it I think.
Bump (sorry!) but I agree that (a8090) should be put here as related!

Hey !!
Any news about the new movie???
any link i can get trailers from ??
There is a few trailers/teasers up on You-Tube right now.
One particular trailer I was able to pull the date of 'Nov 22, 2011' from (in Japan of course), but I do not know if this is the date of the movie release or of the 'Road Show' mentioned earlier in the trailer.
The thing i liked most about it was that the characters actually went through mental and physical developments throughout the series. The characters weren't just flat characters that always make the same stupid mistakes over and over. They actually matured mentally and physically gradually through the series. That's the first i've seen that happen in an anime(and that doesn't count them suddenly maturing on the last episode, because i liked that it was a more realistic gradual change in character).
Liked FMA first season loved FMA brotherhood much much better when it comes to story and like some of u said better graphics i enjoyed more then fma 1st but still love the characters:D
Hmm in my opinion both are great, but Brotherhood's story is a little bit better (I mean complexity). Oh and don't forget about graphics which is now more vivid and smooth (at least I think so).
I actually proffered the animation in the first series of FMA. But in the new series (discluding episodes before 13, because they were kinda rubbish) it has a much better storyline, and it's true to the manga (which is always a good thing, as they don't contradict themselves later).

Well, I haven't read the manga yet, but I am liking the Brotherhood (It is not Full Metal Alchemist Two, it is Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood) more than the first season, although the first was good I am finding the second more interesting since
Shoutbox

Yeap it's true. OT New OP sequence is great and from ep 15 real FMA starts.
