when the tumblr mutuals make it out of the tumblr dms 🫶 after over a year of being tumblr mutuals, i finally met the lovely @teddybearsticker !! we went to the south street seaport museum, tried out old printing machines, stationery window-shopped, and went on a stationery date at a flower shop/café. i had such a great time and i really loved bonding over hobonichi notebooks and fountain pens with like-minded stationery freaks !! if you love beautiful handwriting, aesthetic spreads, and original content, you must follow sarah both on instagram and tumblr at @teddybearsticker 🧸💕!!!

long weekend adventures 🫶 feat. journaling feelings, long walks in the city, bodega cats, and lovely warm bookstores

this was my first time doing daily drawings in my weekly hobo and i had a blast!! i also used a rainbow colored pencil that has 6 colors in one pencil :)) i catsat over the holidays and he was my muse 💋 the problem is my fountain pen bled onto the next month so i'm doing daily crazy headlines for jan (no pics, just text)...

wanted to share the first two weeks of my 2025 hobonichi weeks !! there’s not much rhyme or rhythm but it’s been incredibly helpful tracking/planning all my social events and invites 😙 it also got a little wet from the rain a few days ago, which ruined the top of the pages but oh well…..

this past weekend, i got brunch with a friend at a cute italian bistrot and bookshop in the west village and made a necklace at an arts and craft workshop in brooklyn💗🌲☕️

what i've been up to lately in the city (grabbing coffee, gallery hopping, exploring potential pottery studios) ! honestly, after the election, the future's been feeling bleak but i'm trying to be optimisitc and show up for my local community. if anyone wants to vent, my dms are always open for you 🫶

reflections on my two weeks living in nyc again, feat. 192 books, a really cool bookstore i found in chelsea 💗 i'm still figuring out the trajectory of this blog but once i start work (tomorrow, eep!), this may just turn into a workblr or nyc "travel" tumblr??

i'm SO relieved. it's fun to go back and look back at my posts from this summer. although i wish i had posted more, i was so nervous about not passing that i didn't want to take too much time out of studying to take pictures and post them :((

currently doing peachtober for the first time in my hobonichi 5-year🍑 !! i've never been much of an artist but this is my best attempt.. i haven't done today's entry yet but yesterday, i went into the city to trim my bangs and explore union market 📚☕️

recently, i went to visit a friend in nevada and had a great time exploring cafés, bookstores, and vintage shops !! i fell in love with this portable royal typewriter with dark green keys but wasn't able to take it home with me :'((

really fun day today !! i took an inkmaking workshop at the smithsonian ✒️🫐🌼 we were instructed to forage for any plants or berries in our neighborhood, which i did yesterday ! i extracted ink from chives and pokeberries. we also had a lot of goldenrod ink left over so i was able to bring it home as a pen. our instructor told us that civil war soldiers used pokeberry juice as ink to write love letters due to its vibrant magenta color 💓 it also stains like hell whoops
