Do you live in Joshua Tree, at least part time? Thats where I am, a resident for the last 6 years
I live in Albuquerque New Mexico full time. I do try and travel the southwest regularly though. I lived in the Palm Springs area for four years, LA for ten years, Sedona Arizona for 3 years, Austin Texas for 5, now five years here in Albuquerque. I do love yucca valley and Joshua tree though and have a number of friends in the area and choose to stay there over Palm Springs when visiting the area. Definitely more my speed. I also try and stay in the Tucson Az area often too. Still plenty more to explore though, everywhere.
Hello Anthony, I am amab, non binary as well. Am I too rude if I ask how do you express or feel your non-binaryness? What does consist exactly? Will be happy to share mine!
I feel it as I am not a body, no matter the biology, I am a spirit, and or. That doesn’t want restriction of said binary to dictate my actions, future, or gender. I don’t put much effort into non binary expression physically, because for me it’s not about the physical body. All bodies are beautiful however they choose to express themselves. In general though, I don’t have much attachment to most things these days though. So I’m not hyper offended by being misgendered, it happens, I forgive and forget. It is gratifying when people do pay enough attention and respect to call me by my pronouns though. Maybe that’s my ego talking, but feels good regardless.
I just put a bunch of my more popular sold out print editions up as open editions for those who have been asking. :-)

Hello from Guelph Canada handsome. Any advice on getting into the art market?
Dedicate your time to art, daily, or as often as possible. Focus on the work, not the market. It’s not an easy business, but if the work is there, that’s where it starts. Share your work, build your audience and stay consistent. But I’ve been painting full time for 10 years, I’ve been painting professional for 20 years, working a full time job on the side for 10 years. Some artists never get to go full time. Art is a life tie endeavor. It doesn’t stop. You might take years away from it come back. You at never go beyond doing it as a hobby, but if you are truly drawn to create, that shouldn’t be the focus. Everything else falls into place eventually. There is no linear path? No single way to be successful or have a career. You can forge your own way often or you can pick and chose the elements that works best for your life and work. Just have to get started and keep at it.
