     Hon. Mary Elizabeth Jill Rodd was born on 5 February 1932.1 She was the daughter of Francis James Rennell Rodd, 2nd Baron Rennell and Hon. Mary Constance Vivian Smith.1 She married, firstly, Michael William Langan Dunne, son of Commander Thomas Bartholomew Dunne and Elizabeth Maude (?), on 13 November 1954.1 She and Michael William Langan Dunne were divorced in February 1985.2,1 She married, secondly, Christopher Bridges Daniell in 1985.1 She died on 15 July 2020 at age 88.3
     From 13 November 1954, her married name became Dunne. From 1985, her married name became Daniell. She lived in 2003 at Ashley Farm, Staunton on Arrow, Herefordshire, England.1

Mary Constance Vivian Smith was born on 5 November 1901.1 She was the daughter of Vivian Hugh Smith, 1st Baron Bicester and Lady Sybil Mary McDonnell.1 She married Francis James Rennell Rodd, 2nd Baron Rennell, son of James Rennell Rodd, 1st Baron Rennell and Lilias Georgina Guthrie, on 3 August 1928.1 She died on 31 May 1981 at age 79.1
     Her married name became Rodd. After her marriage, Hon. Mary Constance Vivian Smith was styled as Baroness Rennell on 26 July 1941.

Francis James Rennell Rodd, 2nd Baron Rennell

     Francis James Rennell Rodd, 2nd Baron Rennell was born on 25 October 1895.1 He was the son of James Rennell Rodd, 1st Baron Rennell and Lilias Georgina Guthrie.2 He married Hon. Mary Constance Vivian Smith, daughter of Vivian Hugh Smith, 1st Baron Bicester and Lady Sybil Mary McDonnell, on 3 August 1928.2 He died on 15 March 1978 at age 82, without male issue.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was with the Diplomatic Service between 1919 and 1924.1 He was member of the Stock Exchange between 1926 and 1929.1 He was member of the Bank of England between 1929 and 1932.1 He was director of Morgan Grenfell in 1932.1 He wrote the book People of the Veil, General William Eaton, published 1933.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Rennell, of Rodd, co. Hereford [U.K., 1933] on 26 July 1941.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1943.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the Civil Affairs, Middle East, East Africa and Italy.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1944.1 He wrote the book British Military Administration of African Territories 1940-45.1 He was present of the Royal Geographical Society between 1945 and 1948.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Herefordshire between 1948 and 1957.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1950.1 He was director of BOAC between 1954 and 1965.1 He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Herefordshire between 1957 and 1973.1 He wrote the book Valley on the March, published 1958.1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)1

Gustaf Guthrie Rennell Rodd was born on 13 July 1905.2 He was the son of James Rennell Rodd, 1st Baron Rennell and Lilias Georgina Guthrie.1,2 He married, firstly, Yvonne Mary Marling, daughter of Sir Charles Murray Marling and Lucia Slade, on 6 December 1932.1 He and Yvonne Mary Marling were divorced in 1948.1 He married, secondly, Claude Rosemary Dove, daughter of Archibald W. D. Dove, on 15 May 1948.2 He died on 26 June 1974 at age 68 at Florence, Italy.1,2
     He was educated at Royal Naval College, Osborne, Isle of Wight, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Royal Naval College, Darmouth, Devon, England.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1945.1
