     Hon. Sylvia Laura Stanley was born in 1882. She was the daughter of Edward Lyulph Stanley, 4th Baron Sheffield and Mary Katherine Bell.2 She married Brig.-Gen. Hon. Anthony Morton Henley, son of Anthony Henley, 3rd Baron Henley of Chardstock and Clare Campbell Lucy Jekyll, on 24 April 1906.2 She died in 1980.1
     She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)2 Her married name became Henley. She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1962.1

     Brig.-Gen. Hon. Anthony Morton Henley was born on 4 August 1873.1 He was the son of Anthony Henley, 3rd Baron Henley of Chardstock and Clare Campbell Lucy Jekyll.2 He married Hon. Sylvia Laura Stanley, daughter of Edward Lyulph Stanley, 4th Baron Sheffield and Mary Katherine Bell, on 24 April 1906.2 He died on 17 May 1925 at age 51.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1895 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1898 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He fought in the Boer War, with Compton's Horse and Royal Scots Guards.1 He gained the rank of Adjutant in 1903 in the Scots Greys.1 He gained the rank of GSO(3) between 1911 and 1913 in the War Office.1 He gained the rank of Brigade Major in 1913 in the 2nd Cavalry Brigade.1 He was Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for War in 1914.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of GSO(2) between 1914 and 1915.1 He gained the rank of GSO(1) in 1915.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1916.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 5th Lancers.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.1 He gained the rank of Honorary Brigadier General in the Reserve of Officers.1

Anthony Henley, 3rd Baron Henley of Chardstock1

     Anthony Henley, 3rd Baron Henley of Chardstock was born on 12 April 1825.1 He was the son of Robert Henry Henley, 2nd Baron Henley of Chardstock and Harriet Eleonora Peel.2 He married, firstly, Julia Augusta Peel, daughter of Very Rev. John Peel and Augusta Swinfen, on 30 July 1846.1 He married, secondly, Clare Campbell Lucy Jekyll, daughter of Joseph Henry Storie Jekyll, on 30 June 1870.1 He died on 27 November 1898 at age 73.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Henley of Chardstock, co. Dorset [I., 1799] on 3 February 1841.1 He held the office of Member of the Northamptonshire County Council.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Northamptonshire in 1854.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Northampton between 1859 and 1874.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He was created 1st Baron Northington of Watford, co. Northampton [U.K.] on 28 June 1885.1

     George Henry Lane Fox-Pitt-Rivers was born on 22 May 1890. He was the son of Alexander Edward Lane Fox-Pitt-Rivers and Alice Ruth Hermione Thynne. He married, firstly, Hon. Emily Rachel Forster, daughter of Henry William Forster, 1st and last Baron Forster and Hon. Rachel Cecily Douglas-Scott-Montagu, on 22 December 1915.1 He and Hon. Emily Rachel Forster were divorced in 1930.1 He married, secondly, Rosalind Venetia Henley, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Hon. Anthony Morton Henley and Hon. Sylvia Laura Stanley, on 14 October 1931.2 He and Rosalind Venetia Henley were divorced in 1938.2 He died on 17 June 1966 at age 76.2
