     Sir Joshua Francis Rowley, 7th Bt. was born on 31 December 1920.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Charles Samuel Rowley, 6th Bt. and Margery Frances Bacon.3 He married Hon. Celia Ella Vere Monckton, daughter of George Vere Arundell Monckton-Arundell, 8th Viscount Galway and Hon. Lucia Emily Margaret White, on 13 June 1959.2 He died on 21 February 1997 at age 76.2

Major William Charles Yelverton, 4th Viscount Avonmore1

     Major William Charles Yelverton, 4th Viscount Avonmore was born on 27 September 1824.1 He was the son of Barry John Yelverton, 3rd Viscount Avonmore and Cecilia O'Keefe.1 He married, firstly, Maria Theresa Longworth on 15 August 1857 at Rostrevor, County Down, IrelandG.2 He married, secondly, Emily Marianne Ashworth, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Charles Ashworth and Mary Anne Rooke, on 26 June 1858 at Trinity Chapel, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 He died on 1 April 1883 at age 58 at Biarritz, FranceG.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the Battle of Inkerman on 5 November 1854.1 He fought in the Siege of Sebastopol.1 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Medjidie 5th class.1 Between 21 February 1861 and 4 March 1861 the trial of Thelwall v. Yelverton found that even though Major Yelverton was a Protestant, and Miss Longworth a Roman Catholic, and that they had been married by a Roman Catholic priest, the marriage was valid.2 In March 1861 he was suspended from all military duties.1 On 28 July 1864 on appeal, the decision of Thelwall v. Yelverton was reversed, and the House of Lords decided that William's first marriage was illegal, and that therefore his second marriage was valid.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Avonmore, co. Cork [I., 1795] on 24 October 1870.1 He succeeded as the 4th Lord Yelverton [I., 1795] on 24 October 1870.1 He succeeded as the 4th Viscount Avonmore, of Derry Island, co. Tipperary [I., 1800] on 24 October 1870.1
