     Rachel Lowe Lambert was born on 9 August 1910 at Princeton, New Jersey, U.S.A.2 She was the daughter of Gerald Barnes Lambert.3 She married Stacy Barcroft Lloyd, Jr. in 1932.1 She and Stacy Barcroft Lloyd, Jr. were divorced in 1946.2 She married, secondly, Paul Mellon, son of Andrew William Mellon and Nora Mary McMullen, in 1948.1 She died on 17 March 2014 at age 103 at Upperville, Virginia, U.S.A.2

     Andrew William Mellon was born on 24 March 1855 at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.G.1 He was the son of Thomas Alexander Mellon and Sarah Jane Negley.1 He married Nora Mary McMullen, daughter of Alexander P. McMullen, in 1900.1 He and Nora Mary McMullen were divorced in 1912 on the grounds of her adultery with Captain George Alfred Curphey.1 He died on 27 August 1937 at age 82 at Southampton, Suffolk County, New York, U.S.A.G.1 He was buried at Trinity Episcopal Church cemtery, Upperville, Virginia, U.S.A.G.1
     Andrew William Mellon also went by the nick-name of A. W. Mellon.1 He graduated from Western University of Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.G, in 1873.1 In 1882 he took over his father's bank, T. Mellon & Sons.1 He held the office of Secretary of the Treasury [U.S.] between 4 March 1921 and 12 February 1932.1 He held the office of U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom between 1932 and 1933.1

     Thomas Alexander Mellon was born on 3 February 1813 at Camp Hill Cottage, Lower Castletown, Cappagh, County Tyrone, IrelandG.1 He was the son of Andrew Mellon and Rebecca Wauchob.1 He married Sarah Jane Negley, daughter of Jacob Negley and Barbara (?), on 22 August 1843.1 He died on 3 February 1908 at age 95 at East Liberty, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.G.1
     He emigrated with his parents to Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.G, arriving on 1818.1 He graduated from Western University of Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.G, in 1837.1 He was admitted to Pennsylvania Bar on 15 December 1838.1 He held the office of Judge of the Common Pleas Court [Allegheny County] between 1859 and 1869.1 On 2 January 1870 he founded T. Mellon & Sons Bank.1

     Richard Beatty Mellon was born on 19 March 1858.1 He was the son of Thomas Alexander Mellon and Sarah Jane Negley.1 He married Jennie King, daughter of Alexander King and Cordelia (?).1 He died in December 1933 at age 75.1
     Richard Beatty Mellon also went by the nick-name of R. B. Mellon.1 He was president of the Pittsburgh Reduction Company (Alcoa from 1907) between 1899 and 1910.1 He was president of Mellon Bank in 1921.1
