Margaret Augusta Fremantle was born on 2 December 1904.2 She was the daughter of Colonel Thomas Francis Fremantle, 3rd Baron Cottesloe and Florence Annie Alexandra Tapling.1,2 She married Denys Arthur Jennings, son of A. E. Jennings, on 9 April 1930.2 She and Denys Arthur Jennings were divorced in 1946.2 She married, secondly, Howard Walter Florey, Baron Florey, son of Joseph Florey and Bertha Mary Wadham, on 6 June 1967.1 She died on 14 November 1994 at age 89.2
     She graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 She graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Doctor of Medicine (D.M.)2 From 9 April 1930, her married name became Jennings.1 She was a Lecturer of Pathology between 1945 and 1972 at Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.2 She was a Fellow between 1952 and 1972 at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.2 From 6 June 1967, her married name became Florey.1 After her marriage, Hon.
