     Hon. Isabella Ann Browne was the daughter of John Cavendish Browne, 3rd Baron Kilmaine and Elizabeth Lyon.¹ She married Miles Thomas Stapleton, 8th Baron Beaumont, son of Thomas Stapleton and Mary Juliana Gerard, on 9 September 1844 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.¹ She died on 16 March 1916.² She was buried on 18 March 1916 at Carlton Parish Church, Carlton, Yorkshire, England^G.²
     After her marriage, Hon. Isabella Ann Browne was styled as Baroness Beaumont on 9 September 1844. From 9 September 1844, her married name became Stapleton. In 1872 Roman Catholic.²

     John Cavendish Browne, 3rd Baron Kilmaine was born on 11 June 1794.² He was the son of James Caulfeild Browne, 2nd Baron Kilmaine and Hon. Anne Cavendish.² He married, firstly, Elizabeth Lyon, daughter of David Lyon, on 4 January 1822.² He married, secondly, Mary Law, daughter of Hon. Charles Ewan Law and Elizabeth Sophia Nightingale, on 3 September 1839.² He died on 13 January 1873 at age 78.²
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Kilmaine, of the Neale, co. Mayo [I., 1789] on 23 May 1825.² He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Browne, of the Neale, co. Mayo [N.S., 1636] on 23 May 1825.² He was appointed Representative Peer [Ireland] between 1849 and 1873.²

     Miles Stapleton, 10th Baron Beaumont was born on 17 July 1850 at Curzon Street, Mayfair, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Miles Thomas Stapleton, 8th Baron Beaumont and Hon. Isabella Ann Browne.¹ He married Ethel Mary Tempest, daughter of Sir Charles Henry Tempest, 1st and last Bt. and Cecilia Elizabeth Tichborne Hibbert, on 7 November 1893 at Roman Catholic Church of St. Mary, Cadogan Street, London, England^G.¹ He died on 16 September 1895 at age 45 at Carlton Towers Park, Yorkshire, England^G, from the accidental discharge of his gun while crossing a stile.¹ His will (dated 16 September 1895) was proven (by probate), at £18,049 gross and £7,889 net.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of officer in 1869 in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He was Roman Catholic.¹ He fought in the Expedition to Bechuanaland between 1884 and 1885.¹ He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 20th Hussars between 1891 and 1895.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Baron Beaumont [E., 1309] on 23 January 1892.¹
     On his death, the Barony of Beaumont fell into abeyance until 1 June 1896.¹

     Ethel Mary Tempest was born on 8 October 1864 at Bosworth Hall, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.³ She was the daughter of Sir Charles Henry Tempest, 1st and last Bt. and Cecilia Elizabeth Tichborne Hibbert.¹ She married Miles Stapleton, 10th Baron Beaumont, son of Miles Thomas Stapleton, 8th Baron Beaumont and Hon. Isabella Ann Browne, on 7 November 1893 at Roman Catholic Church of St. Mary, Cadogan Street, London, England^G.¹ She died on 19 January 1937 at age 72.³ She was buried on 22 January 1937 at Carleton, Yorkshire, England^G.³
     She was also known as Mary Ethel Tempest.⁴ She inherited the Heaton estate.⁴ After her marriage, Ethel Mary Tempest was styled as Baroness Beaumont on 7 November 1893.¹ From 7 November 1893, her married name became Stapleton.

     Sir Charles Henry Tempest, 1st and last Bt. was born on 5 January 1834.² He was the son of Henry Tempest and Jemima de Trafford.³ He married, firstly, Cecilia Elizabeth Tichborne Hibbert, daughter of John Hubert Washington Hibbert and Julia Tichborne, on 21 May 1862.² He married, secondly, Harriette Manson Gordon, daughter of Captain Rowland Hill Gordon and Elizabeth Rose Manson, on 1 June 1874.² He and Harriette Manson Gordon were divorced in 1878.² He died on 1 August 1894 at age 60, without surviving male issue.²
     He was created 1st Baronet Tempest, of Heaton, Lancashire [U.K.] on 30 July 1866.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)² He lived at Heaton, Lancashire, England^G.² On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.²

     Albertine Charlotte Freiin von Rotberg was born on 2 September 1797.² She was the daughter of Friedrich August Freiherr von Rotberg and Pauline Waldner von Freundstein.² She married, firstly, General Jean Rapp on 22 January 1816.¹ She married, secondly, George Drummond, 14th Earl of Perth, son of Léon Maurice Drummond and Marie Elizabeth Lucie de Longemarre, on 19 May 1831.¹ She died on 2 June 1842 at age 44.¹
     From 22 January 1816, her married name became Rapp.¹ Her married name became Drummond. After her marriage, Albertine Charlotte Freiin von Rotberg was styled as Countess of Melfort on 9 April 1840.

     Hon. George William Petre was born on 10 January 1766.¹ He was the son of Robert Edward Petre, 9th Baron Petre and Anne Howard.¹ He married Maria Howard, daughter of Philip Howard and Ann Witham, on 6 August 1786.² He died on 22 October 1797 at age 31.¹

     Lady Jean Ker was the daughter of Robert Ker, 1st Earl of Roxburghe and Margaret Maitland.^1,2 A contract for the marriage of Lady Jean Ker and John Drummond, 2nd Earl of Perth was signed on 28 August 1613.³
     After her marriage, Lady Jean Ker was styled as Countess of Perth on 28 August 1613. From 28 August 1613, her married name became Drummond.

     Margaret Maitland was the daughter of William Maitland of Lethington and Mary Fleming.¹ She married Robert Ker, 1st Earl of Roxburghe, son of Sir William Ker of Cessford and Janet Douglas, on 5 December 1587.²
     From 5 December 1587, her married name became Ker.²

     William Ashburnham, 2nd Baron Ashburnham was born on 21 May 1679.¹ He was the son of John Ashburnham, 1st Baron Ashburnham and Bridget Vaughan.¹ He was baptised on 22 May 1679 at St. Martins in the Fields, London, England^G.¹ He married Catharine Taylor, daughter of Thomas Taylor and Ursula (?), on 16 October 1705.¹ He died on 16 June 1710 at age 31 at Ashburnham, Sussex, England^G, from smallpox, without issue.¹ He was buried at Ashburnham, Sussex, England^G.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Hastings between 1702 and 1710.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Ashburnham, of Ashburnham, Sussex [E., 1689] on 21 January 1709/10.¹
