Juliet Eleanor Hugolyn Whitelocke was the daughter of Commander G. Whitelocke.1 She married, firstly, Edward Colin Winter, son of Lt.-Col. Charles Edward Winter, before 1965.1 She married, secondly, Sir Geoffrey Voltelin Bates, 5th Bt., son of Major Cecil Robert Bates and Hylda Madeleine Heath, in 1971.1 She died on 21 April 2003.1

Major Cecil Robert Bates was born on 3 February 1882.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Percy Bates, 2nd Bt. and Constance Elizabeth Graves.1 He married Hylda Madeleine Heath, daughter of Sir James Heath, 1st and last Bt. and Euphemia Celina Van der Byl, on 27 June 1918.1 He died on 5 March 1935 at age 53.1
He gained the rank of Major in 1914 in the Royal Field Artillery.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1

Sir Edward Percy Bates, 2nd Bt. was born on 17 August 1845.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Bates, 1st Bt. and Ellen Thompson.2 He married Constance Elizabeth Graves, daughter of Samuel Robert Graves, on 20 April 1876.1 He died on 31 December 1899 at age 54.1

Sir Percy Elly Bates, 4th Bt. was born on 12 May 1879.1 He was the son of Sir Edward Percy Bates, 2nd Bt. and Constance Elizabeth Graves.1 He married Mary Ann Lefroy, daughter of Very Rev. William Lefroy and Mary Ann MacIver, on 20 June 1907.1 He died on 16 October 1946 at age 67.1
