     Violet Bruce is the daughter of Rear-Admiral James Minchin Bruce and Elizabeth Lucas Hill.1 She married Major Arthur Richmond, son of Arthur Richmond, on 7 February 1901.1
     From 7 February 1901, her married name became Richmond.

     Stewart Crawford Bruce was born on 20 January 1801.1 He was the son of Rev. Sir Henry Hervey Aston Bruce, 1st Bt. and Letitia Barnard.1 He married Helen Baillie Alves, daughter of William Alves, on 6 December 1828.1 He died on 18 February 1878 at age 77.1
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Londonderry.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Londonderry.1 He lived at Eveham Place, Hampshire, EnglandG.2

     Major Stewart Hervey Bruce was born on 10 July 1834.1 He was the son of Stewart Crawford Bruce and Helen Baillie Alves. He married Frances Anna Maria Becher, daughter of Henry Corry Rowley Becher and Sarah Evanson Leonard, on 19 January 1864.1 He died in 1899.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 102nd Foot.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Londonderry.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 102nd Royal Madras Fusiliers.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the 63rd Regiment, 91st Highlanders.2 He held the office of Governor of Londonderry Counry Prison.2

     Henry Corry Rowley Becher was born on 5 June 1817 at 13 Gower Street, Bedford Square, London, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Captain William Alexander Becher and Frances Scott.1 He married, firstly, Sarah Evanson Leonard on 27 October 1841.1 He married, secondly, Caroline Street, daughter of Samuel Street and Abigail Hyde Ransom, on 20 August 1874 at Whitby, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He died on 6 July 1885 at age 68 at Falconhurst, Sidcup, Kent, EnglandG.1
     He was appointed Queen's Counsel (Q.C.)2 He lived at CanadaG.2

     Frances Anna Maria Becher was the daughter of Henry Corry Rowley Becher and Sarah Evanson Leonard.1,2 She married Major Stewart Hervey Bruce, son of Stewart Crawford Bruce and Helen Baillie Alves, on 19 January 1864.1 She died on 30 May 1927.1
     From 19 January 1864, her married name became Bruce.

     Henry Becher Bruce was born on 17 February 1866.1 He was the son of Major Stewart Hervey Bruce and Frances Anna Maria Becher.1 He married Marian Evelyn MacFadden, daughter of James MacFadden, on 28 October 1904.1 He died on 14 May 1944 at age 78.1
