Skyrocket Entertainment, media brand and gambling company, has announced the successful completion of The Games Company acquisition, thus significantly expanding its operations base.

The Games Company has a growing portfolio of ten games including Hippie Chicks, Cash Cowboy and Super 7 Wilds. These are currently available in the UK and Gibraltar licensed operators. New games will be launched towards the end of 2019.

A Springboard for the Future

Skyrocket’s CEO, Sean O’Kelly, comments:

“We’re incredibly excited by our acquisition of The Games Company, which represents a major milestone for Skyrocket.

TGC has a proven track record for developing and rolling out online games – it also has a pipeline of new integration opportunities and partnerships with online gaming operators, so it’s primed to expand recurring revenue.”

He added that the entire company is looking forward to cooperating with Hans (Winkelmann, co-founder) and his talented team in order to integrate Skyrocket’s brands. He rounded off his statement by saying that this will bolster Skyrocket’s reach and be a springboard for a rapid growth.

New Line of Duties

O’Kelly and co-founder Richard Clarke have brokered the deal…

…and were assisted by BlockChain Innovations Corp’s director, Morris Mosseri. The Games Company co-founder, Hans Winkelmann will be working alongside the team of senior managers as Chief Product Officer. He will be working on revitalizing business operations strategy.

According to the terms of this deal, Skyrocket will obtain 100% of The Games Company shares as well as Remote Gaming Server from Black Cow Technology.

Comments Winkelmann

“I’m delighted to find a suitable owner for TGC, which will leverage the integrations and relationships which have been built over the last period. Looking forward to bringing Skyrocket’s library of media assets and brand content to market.”

Filling the Gap

The very idea of Skyrocket Entertainment is to “fill the market gap.” By that, they mean creating versions of iconic Hollywood movies that are applicable to global gaming and social gaming sector. It’s no wonder, therefore, that the company had its glitzy launch at last year’s Cannes Film Festival, possibly the biggest event of its kind in the world.

Richard Clarke said that the brand is excited to have TGC aboard Skyrocket which significantly help broaden our reach in delivering exciting and standout games using their exclusive media rights through TGC’s certified Remote Gaming Server and existing partnerships.
