SCOPE
This international standard describes a strategy for accessing and interpreting the risk of physiological constrains, or of discomfort, while working in a given climatic environment.
It is applicable in any working situation with steady or varying conditions of the climate, metabolic rate or clothing.
This international standard does not describe a single procedure , but a strategy in three stages that can be used successively to gain deeper insight in the working condition, as it is needed to draw the most appropriate conclusions about the risk involved and identify the best controls and prevention measures .
ISO 11399 The purpose of this International Standard is to specify information which will allow the correct, effective and practical use of International Standards concerned with the ergonomics of the thermal environment.
ISO 7933
Which deals with thermal stress in condition s likely to lead to excessive sweat loss or core temperature . It also enables required modifications to be identified such that the threat of thermal strain is eliminated. Allowable exposure times can also be specified using the standard. ISO 7730 The purpose is provide the method for predicting thermal sensations in different environments and for specifying thermal conditions that will be percieved as comfortable
ISO 9920 Method is determine the insulation for value of clothing are dealth with. ISO 9886 Deals with the evaluation of thermal strain using physiological measurement ( core temperature, skin temperature, heart rate and body mass loss) ISO 7726 Instruments for measuring physical quantities ISO 9920 Estimation of the thermal insulation and evaporative resistance of a clothing ensemble. ISO 8996 Determine of metabolic rate
ISO 7243
Estimation of the heat stress on working man, base on the WBGT-index wet bulb globe temperature )
ISO 7933 Analytical determination and interpretion of heat stress using calculation of the predicted heat strain. ISO 12894 Medical supervision of individual exposed to extreme hot cold environments ISO/TR 11079 Determination required clothing insulation ISO 9116-1 Lighting in general.
ISO 11429 System of danger and non-danger signals with ISO 10551 Assessment of the influence of the thermal environment using subjective judgment scales. ISO NP15265 Risk of stress or discomfort. ISO NP 15743 Working practices for cold indoor environments.
