THE MANGLA DAM

The worlds largest dam at the time of its completion. Total fill was 140 million cubic yards. (in all the four dams, main dam, Jari dam, intake dam and Sukian dam.) Previous largest dam was fort peck dam on the Missouri river in Usa.

for irrigation

Aggregate plant capacity 3000 cubic yards of concrete per hour. worlds biggest plant at that time. Mole to drive tunnels, specially designed. 36 ft. diameter to excavate 1650 ft. long five tunnels. at a rate 105 ft. per day. operated by Pakistani operators.
