Cream of Tartar
Hydrogen Peroxide
used to disinfect the
kitchen. Just fill a spray
bottle and wipe down the
kitchen surfaces with 3%
hydrogen peroxide to kill
germs.
Natural Cleaning Materials
Lemon juice
Lemon is a great substance to clean
and shine brass and copper. It can be
used to dissolve soap scum and hard
water deposits. Lemon juice can be
mixed with vinegar and/or baking soda
to make cleaning pastes.
Natural Cleaning Materials
Baking soda
used to scrub surfaces in
much the same way as
commercial abrasive cleansers.
Baking soda is as great as a
deodorizer. Place a box with
baking soda in the refrigerator
and freezer to absorb odors.
Natural Cleaning Materials
Borax
like baking soda, it acts as a
kitchen disinfectant and stain
remover. Borax is also used to kill
molds and mildew spores while
removing their stains making it
great for mopping floors.
Natural Cleaning Materials
Mayonnaise
not known to many, mayonnaise
can actually revitalize dried-up
wood surfaces. It can remove
water rings and lift crayon marks
as well as eliminate the gum
behind many stickers stuck to
surfaces.
Natural Cleaning Materials
Sponges
great scrubbers which help disinfect
kitchen by cleaning away the food
debris that bacteria thrive on. To
keep your sponges disinfected, wet
them down and place them in the
microwave and heat for one minute
each.
