Node Address Setting
Network code A is:128.128.1
—the IP address of MCU in network A:128.128.1.XXX
— the address of Ethernet card in network A:128.128.1.XXX
Network code B is:128.128.2
—the IP address of MCU in network B:128.128.2.XXX
—the address of Ethernet card in network B:128.128.2.XXX
the "XXX" in Control Station is decided by SW2 on MCU (2-127) ;
in Operator Station or Engineer Station (129-200)
Node Address Setting

• Each Control Station has two IP address which is set with

SW2 on MCU.

Medium and Network
• Communication medium consists of inlet and outlet cable.
• Inlet cable is twisted-pair
• The media selection of outlet cable is depended on the structure of network.
• All the media can be optional as follows:
Medium and Network
Twisted-Pair :
inside control station cabinet,
inside control room,
non-industry field. etc.
Low electromagnetic disturbance
Transmission Distance is lesser than 1
00m
Typical topology is Star structure
Use HUB or Switch
Medium and Network
Requirements of laying
1) Choose AMP type-5 or Super type-5 unshielded twisted-
pair (UTP) or shielded twisted-pair (STP).

2) The twisted-pair exposing on the ground should use prote

ction tubing;
On occasion of serious electrical disturbance, the twiste
d-pair must
use metal protection tubing with reliable grounding.
Medium and Network

Optical Fiber:
Used as outlet cables.
Serious electromagnetic disturbance
Typical Network
Distance between nodes ≤ 100m
You can use twisted-pair as outlet cable if related network module has
RJ45 interface.

SBUS
SBUS

• SBUS is the internal I/O control bus which real

izes the communication among CS, MCU, DTM a
nd I/O module
• SBUS consists of:
• SBUS-S2
• SBUS-S1
SBUS-S2

• SBUS-S2 connects
MCU and DTM.
