MODULE 18

Dreams
and Aspirations

Dreams and aspirations are the things that people want to have or want to be in the
future. People have different dreams and different ways of realizing and obtaining them.
These even change the perspective of a person about life. These are the things that make
every individual see the positive things in life. A person who holds on to his/her dreams is
usually the one who succeeds in life.
"If you can imagine it, you can create it. If you can dream it, you can become it." - William
Arthur Ward

Determining One Dreams and Aspirations

People have dreams and aspirations in life. These are the things that
people want to achieve, to possess or to become in the future. They view
dreams as their goals in life that they need to pursue in order for them to
be happy
  and contented. People who are dreamers live in a world where
positive affirmations create a positive life. People who cling to their
dreams are always positive that through determination and
perseverance their aspirations in life will be realized.
Aspirations
by Supriya Hegde

I looked into the mirror,

Only to find myself,
Staring at my future,
A future I made myself;

Oh, how I believe in my dreams becoming a reality,
In all aspects—she inspires me,
So young, but all over the news her specialty,
And that is what I aspire to be;

Staring at my future,
A future I made myself;

Oh, how I believe in my dreams becoming a reality,
In all aspects—she inspires me,
So young, but all over the news her specialty,
And that is what I aspire to be;
People at times discourage me,
But there is a rainbow beyond that rain,
Inspiration is what I want to be,
I know I can be, if only I stand all that pain;

I see a better world all around,

I have contributed to the change,
I sure will make a mark beyond,
But all these seemed so strange;

I wanted to stare at the mirror forever,
To achieve my goal and be bright like the supernova,
Staring at the mirror would help me never,
I will have to be swift, clever, and much more than a nova!
