B. Compliance with PARTIAL EVIDENCE
Curriculum and Assessment
1. From the curriculum guide of DepEd from K-12, check the competencies. Also,
alignment on the topics in each quarter. In the crafting of the lesson objectives,
anchor it in the PVMGO of Army’s Angel. It is advisable that you list down all the
subjects per grade level. Then identify what subjects will answer which n the PVMGO
of the school. In this manner, all areas are covered.
Horizontal Alignment focuses on the assessment visa-vis the content standards. It
indicates the frequency of assessment, the types of skills you want your student to
master, the content and the resources needed. These should all be aligned to the
Philosophy, vision, mission, goals and objectives of Army’s angel.
For vertical learning progression, look at how the subject moves from one grade level to
another subject covering all the necessary topics. Emphasis is on skills, classroom
instructions and learning outcomes.

2. For review of the curriculum map, recommendation is to have academic
planning schedule during summer to go over the competencies, make
adjustment base on survey that you give to parents, industry partners
and alumni. This is for the improvement of the curriculum.

3. In the learning plan, start first with basic skills, then intermediate or
advance skills. Also, make use of different teaching strategies looking
at the different learning styles. There are 8 learning styles. So put
learning styles at addresses visual learners, verbal, auditory-musical,
physical, interpersonal and the like. For learner-centered strategies.
Bellow are some of the student-centered strategies you may use when
you craft learner’s outcomes.
For subject integration, look at subjects that can be merge in terms of student outcomes. Like you can
merge PE dance presentation with AP topic on ethnic tribes. Or, TLE cooking with Health on nutritious
meals.
The twelve 21st Century skills You can place these in competencies/skills or as
are:  values that students will acquire. Place activities that
• Critical thinking will hone these skills. Distribute it in all the weeks
• Creativity for the entire school year.

5. Make a program for academic tutoring and intervention
program for students with learning difficulties.

6. In your teacher evaluation tools, include items that will


answer this deficiency. Include at least 5 items to cover how
teacher’s performance are observed and monitored on the K-
12 standards and competencies. This may also be included as
part of the faculty ranking on seminars, conferences, training,
certifications and workshops they have attended.
C. Instructional Leadership
1. Have strategic planning with key heads then have an
operational/tactical planning with faculty and staff. The strategic
planning should be participated by all heads both academic and
nonacademic. Then the staff and faculty with the heads do the
tactical planning. Strategic planning is 2-3 years. Tactical
planning is yearly.
2. Do a research on student performance in school assessment as
well as on national assessment like BEEA, NCAE and NAT. From
these, make intervention plan or review schedules in order to
increase school standing.
3. Make a supervisory development Program to address gaps and acquire more
competencies and skills. These can be through in-service training provided
by the school or attendance to external trainings, for a, conferences,
workshops and seminars. It can also through membership in the various
organizations related to their specialization.

4. Make a logbook of the faculty usage and borrowing of books in the library, as
well as borrowing and using of instructional equipment and tools like the use
of computer laboratory, TLE laboratory, PE equipment etc.

5. Offer sabbatical leave or financial assistance program for teaching and non-
teaching staff for continuing education. Make a faculty development plan
that will include this as well as membership to organizations, research grants
for research presentation.
D. Faculty
1. Install a bulletin board where all communications are posted. Also,
make a communication protocol that DepEd memos, Circulars,
announcements –Deped or from LGU are sent to the heads of the
affected departments and PRC. Registrar should be the one assigned to
communicate it to the different heads.
2. Prepare the Faculty Manual and the series of version if there are.
3. Faculty Development Plan including appreciation of teacher’s loyalty
and service award.
4. A Faculty Performance Evaluation instrument by head, peers and
students.
