INTRODUCTION
Global warming and vehicle fuel consumption are
very important and connected issues.

Global surveys have shown that the emissions


from automobiles around the world is the second
largest factor which is affecting the climate change
around the world.

As petroleum supplies decrease, fuel availability at


reasonable cost will also become a big issue by
2020.
INTRODUCTION
“Green" cars – vehicles are more
environment-friendly than our traditional
set of wheels.
These vehicles have enjoyed increased
popularity over the years and as its
technology continues to evolve.
The recent and popular hybrid electric cars
segment has also come to the Indian shores.
OBJECTIVES

1) To analyze the factors affecting consumer


perception towards hybrid cars in Delhi/NCR.
 
2) To know the awareness of consumers
regarding hybrid cars in Delhi/NCR.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

A) Research Design: - Descriptive research

B) Sample Design: -

Sample unit:- Customers and other Individuals visiting


honda and toyota showrooms in Delhi\NCR region.

Sample Size:- Sample size were 50 respondents.


Sampling Technique:- Judgement sampling.

CONCLUSION
Most important factor motivating customer to
purchase electric cars is price because customers
want fuel-efficient cars at most economical prices.
 
Customers are becoming more environment
friendly because of which they buy hybrid cars.
 
Customer consider style as one of the important
factors while buying hybrid cars.
 
Customers are becoming more aware about
electric hybrid cars.

the import duties to make the car less
costly.

awareness regarding loan facilities
provided by the banks according to
the income level of consumers.

RECOMMENDATIONS
Low cost methods must be used for
developing countries where vehicles are
small and cheap.
Companies should form associations to
not only create an awareness on the issue
but also join hands to create ventures
which help the planet restore its natural
balance.
RECOMMENDATIONS
The government plays the biggest role in
formulating policies which directly affect
and assist the automotive giants to extend
efforts in this direction.
An education attempting to spread
awareness of the situation should be the
need of the hour. Therefore, social groups
and even political parties supporting the
effort should rise to the occasion.

The issue should be propagated right
from the school levels.
Indigenous automobile companies should
be at the forefront of this revolution.
Since the are the local players the refrain
from paying heavy taxes and duties.
Forums should be created on the internet
and social marketing sites should take an
initiative.
The companies should make an effort in
this direction using institutional buying as
an effective tool.
Since the government has huge budgets, it
should set an example creating an
awareness which will have the biggest
impact on the masses.
The Indian railways is one of the most
intricate and extensive railway networks.
There should be a gradual transformation to
a completely electrified system of
transportation.
