Introduction to
AUTOMAT IRRIGATION PVT. LTD.

• Automat irrigation pvt. Ltd. Is a huge name in the field of

manufacturer of agricultural and field irrigation supplement products.
• Its main product are for the irrigation and cultivation based.
• They produce various products related to agriculture and irrigation
which are made up of materials like PVC, PB, steel pipe and copper
pipe etc.
• Automat irrigation pvt. Ltd. Is also a foreign supplier of various
irrigation products.
PRODUCTS
• In Automat Irrigation pvt. Ltd. , various products related to agriculture
and irrigation facilities are produced with the help of manual, semi
automatic and fully automatic machines which work on NC
(numerical control ) machines, which are as follows:-

• Sprinklers.
• Filtration equipments.
• Fertigation equipments.
• Valves.
• Etc.
SPRINKLERS
• Sprinklers are the equipments which are used to spread or sprinkle
water to a certain area in their range.

• A sprinkle is known best by its qualities of amount of water it uses in

sprinkle and its range (area covered by it).

• In Automat Irrigation pvt. Ltd. We had performed the formation of

such sprinklers , such as:-
1. impact sprinklers
2. micro sprinklers
• An Impact Sprinkler (sometimes called an impulse sprinkler) is a type
of irrigation sprinkler in which the sprinkler head, driven in a circular
motion by the force of the outgoing water, pivots on a bearing on top
of its threaded attachment nut. Invented in 1933 by Orton Englehart,
it quickly found widespread use.

• Micro sprinklers are used in Micro-irrigation, also called

localised irrigation, low volume irrigation, low-flow irrigation, or
trickle irrigation is an irrigation method with lower pressure and flow
than a traditional sprinkler system. Low volume irrigation is used in
agriculture for row crops, orchards, and vineyards
FILTRATION
EQUIPMENT

• Irrigation water contains impurities such as sand, pebbles, silt, and

decaying organic materials. While all these elements cannot be
completely removed – usage of the correct irrigation filter can ensure
that water becomes clean enough for our irrigation needs. The
correct filter is a critical component that can protect components,
extend life, lower maintenance, and reduce wear and tear in order to
ensure optimum performance of your irrigation system.
• Filtration equipment are of different types based
on some factors such as its shape and its
functionality.

• Filtration equipment are of two types based on

its shapes i.e. T-shaped and Y-shaped.

• Filtration equipment are also manual and semi

automatic

FERTIGATION
EQUIPMENTS

• To get a high yielding, high-quality harvest – an exact mix of water

and fertilizer and added nutrients must be delivered to plants and
crops at regular intervals. Our range of fertigation products when
integrated into an irrigation system, deliver effective fertigation
performance and harvest quality, along with less water usage, saving
of fertilizer, time, labour and energy use.
• There are various types of fertigation equipments are manufactured
in Automat Irrigation pvt. Ltd., some are as follows:-

1. HT-112&HT-113
2. HT - 114 & HT - 115ES
3. PLASTIC FERTILIZER TANK
4. FERTIGATION MANIFOLD

VALVES

• Valves are for starting or stopping flow, regulating or

throttling flow, preventing back flow or relieving and
regulating pressure in fluid or gaseous handling
applications. Common valve types include:
Ball,Butterfly,Check, Diaphragm, Gate, Globe, Knife
Gate, Parallel Slide, Pinch, Piston, Plug, Sluice, etc.
• Valves are of various types but they are mainly divided as:-
1. Control Valve.
2. Safety valve.

• Automat’s Control Valves enable correct air and water

control and increase the efficiency and performance of your
irrigation system. Else – your system can be affected by
pressure fluctuations, water hammer which can damage
pumps, break pipes and decrease flow of water and affect
performance and efficiency. Install Automat’s Control Valves
in your irrigation system and save water, energy and achieve
better irrigation quality.

MATERIALS USED IN PRODUCING SUCH
PRODUCTS :-
• Copper.

• Stainless steel.

• Polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

• Polybutylene (PB).
• Valves and filters made of stainless steel and copper
have high load bearing capacity and are much costlier
than the plastic one because of the materials used in
their production.

• While on the other hand valves, filters and sprinklers

made of polyvinyl chloride and polybutylene are much
cheaper with same durability as those of that made
with copper or stainless steel , thus now a days the
use of PVC and PB material components are in trend.
MACHINES USED
IN THE PRODUCTION

• Larsen and toubro DTS 350/729 3900E

• Oima stratos 600 180 fx
• Omega servo 660 w
• Ferromatik Milacron
• Toshiba DTS 350 – 3960
• Etc.
PROCESS USED
IN THE PRODUCTION
INJECTION MOULDING is a manufacturing process for producing parts
by injecting molten material into a mould . Injection moulding can be
performed with a host of materials mainly including metals (for which
the process is called die-casting), glasses, elastomers, confections, and
most commonly thermoplastic and thermosetting polymers. Material
for the part is fed into a heated barrel, mixed (Using a helical shaped
screw), and injected (Forced) into a mould cavity, where it cools and
hardens to the configuration of the cavity . After a product is designed,
usually by an industrial designer or an engineer, moulds are made by a
mould -maker (or toolmaker) from metal, usually either steel or
aluminium , and precision-machined to form the features of the desired
part. Injection moulding is widely used for manufacturing a variety of
parts, from the smallest components to entire body panels of cars.
Advances in 3D printing technology, using photopolymers which do not
melt during the injection moulding of some lower temperature
thermoplastics, can be used for some simple injection moulds .
We are very thankful to the managing director of the company to let
us learn with his permission under his guidance.

And also very grateful to all the engineers , machine operators and
labour of AUTOMAT IRRIGATION PRIVATE LIMITED to cooperate with
us and guide us through out our journey of the 2- month summer
training at Automat irrigation pvt. Ltd.
