WHAT IS GAMING
ENTERTAINMENT?
 The term gaming entertainment refers to one subset of the

gaming industry, namely, the casino industry.
 The dramatic growth of this part of the hospitality business
has brought with it significant changes in how business in this
industry operate and what they offer their guest.
 OVERVIEW
 1. The Casino Industry has
developed into a new business
called gaming entertainment
with the instroduction of full-
service hotels, retail, and
entertainment offerings.
 2. To operate gaming
entertainment business, it is
necesarry to uderstand the
relationship between the casino
and other departments in the
operation
 3. Gaming Entertainment is
strictly regulated by the
state governments, and the
integrity development over
time by these regulations is
necesarry for the survival of
the industry.
 4. Nongaming revenue is
increasing as a percentage
of total revenue of gaming
entertainment businesses.
 5. Native American gaming

are a means for economic
self-development by tribal
people.

 The object of the game is to have the two cards in your hand
add up to more than the two cards in the dealer’s hand –

without exceeding 21.

 The object of Pai Gow is to make the two best poker hands.

dealer each receive one card. If your card is
