Different use of adjectives:
Short Long
(1 or 2 syllables ended with Y) (2 or more)
The opposite of more is less. This word usually goes with long adjectives.
Example: A car is less dangerous than a motorcycle.
1. To show big difference: much / far / a lot. (Before the comparative adjective)
Example: She is a lot/much/far more beautiful than the other girl.
1. To show small difference: slightly / a little / a bit. (Before the comparative adjective)
Example: Calama is slightly/a little/a bit cheaper than Antofagasta.
Superlative Sentences: classify adjectives according to
the number of syllables.
