Introduction:
It is simply an email bidding.
DOR is the first governmental organization
of GoN to develop and implement the e-
Procurement System in Nepal.
Developed as a part of RSDP (Road Sector
Development Project) funded by World
Bank.
All the 25 divisions and the Projects are
using this DoR e-Proc.
Objective of e-bidding
Reduce the transaction cost.
Improve the process efficiency.
Quick and effective.
To eliminate the collusion.
Save inventory cost.
Accessibility.

For e-submission purpose the Bidder
shall, at first, register in the
procurement section of DoRs Web site
http:/www.dor.gov.np

After preparing all the required bidding


documents in *.pdf bid files, submit is
complete online through e-procurement
section of DoRs website
http:/www.dor.gov.np within the
specified date and time.
Bid Opening Process
Electronically submitted bid shall be
opened first at the Bid opening time.

The e-procurement system allows the


Employer to download the e-submitted
bid files from the bidders only after the
time for opening the bids.

Unreadable and partially submitted bid


files shall be considered incomplete and
rejected for further bid evaluation
After opening of e-submitted bids files,
all files shall be printed and recorded at
the time of opening.
Qualification Information
In case of e-bidding, the bidder is
required to submit the qualification
information only, and need not
require to submit the detail
supporting documents like work
experience certificates, financial
statements, equipmemt ownership
papers etc.

For e-submission, shall fill the following
documents, sign, seal, scan, convert to
*.pdf and upload as part of Qualification
Information.
