Use of camera surveillance and exception based reporting to identify theft in multiple
stores, both internal and external. Trained in Use of Force and handcuff use to detain
shoplifters, fraudulent returners and fraudulent credit users. Travel between four stores
in the Orlando area to apprehend theft suspects and speak with employees about the
importance of Loss Prevention and theft deterrence techniques. Work closely with law
enforcement at all sites to prosecute law breakers on Belk property. Attend court when
called upon to serve as victim/witness representing Belk. I have obtained experience in
misdemeanor and felony criminal court, depositions, mediation and one felony case
that went to a jury trial. In charge of all safety measures taken in store and lead

Accomplishments
Uncovered theft by the Store Manager of Belk Store #11 in Statesville, NC, leading to her
arrest and embezzlement charges. (October 2013)
Spent two hours on the witness stand during a jury trial, representing Belk in a felony
shoplifting case. (January 2018)
Member of the Belk Loss Prevention Awareness Committee from February 2015 to
November 2015
Highest external apprehension productivity ratio in the Charlotte Region for the first 6
months of fiscal year 2015.
