-Commissioning with the U-Maker to the Test BBU.
USB Version and Configuration Data Maker (UMaker) is a tool that can be used to
convert platform package, LTE FDD and its corresponding configuration data, and
write them into USB equipment according to the requirement of USB site-opening
function on versions and data configuration.
USB site-opening function can greatly reduce the site-opening cost and the
requirement on the engineers, thus improve site-opening efficient.

-Commissioning with the U-Maker to the Test BBU.
Double-click to run the file UMaker.jar to open the interface of the tools.

-Commissioning with the U-Maker to the Test BBU.
Click the “Browse” button to choose the root folder of USB device on PC. For example if the name of USB
equipment is “F:”, then select “F:”

-Commissioning with the U-Maker to the Test BBU.
Click the “Browse” button to select the path of configuration data files for each package. Click the “Check”
button to check the validity of the contents in USB device for each package

-Commissioning with the U-Maker to the Test BBU (Write into USB Device).
Select the file that needs be written into USB device.
The version and configuration files must be selected according to the actual situation before they are
written into the USB devices.

-Commissioning with the U-Maker to the Test BBU.
Click the “Make” button in the tool bar to start to write the version files and configuration files into the
USB devices.

-Commissioning with the U-Maker to the Test BBU.
The tool will reminded the user to overwrite the configuration files that have already existed in the
USB devices.

This process can take 5 minutes. When the IMT finishes loading the configuration then reboot.

A Local Maintenance Terminal (LMT) is a network management tool used to operate and
maintain a base station.
Application Scenarios
The LMT is applied in the following scenarios
• l Commissioning on customer site
• l If the transmission link of a base station is broken, the base station can be connected through the LMT.
• l If an engineering problem occurs, the base station can be connected through the LMT.
