    AFFIDAVIT OF DESISTANCE

    I, Jessica Alba, Filipino, of legal age, Single, and a resident of Lot 1


    Blk 13 Phase 4 Parot Road Sto. Nino subd. Brgy Cagbang Oton, after
    having been duly sworn in accordance with law, hereby depose and
    state:

    1. That I am the complainant in the criminal case filed against


    Jose Lao, which is recorded as Case No. GR.12345 before
    Prosecuting Fiscal Atty. Amadeo Cruz of the Municipality of
    Oton of province of Iloilo for grave threats;

    2. That after boxing incident while playing chess at Igorot Park


    in Baguio and thinking that it was just a case of
    misunderstanding between me and my chess opponent, I have
    decided to withdraw my accusations against Jose Lao;

    3. That I have executed this affidavit in order to attest to the


    truth of the foregoing circumstances and that my desistance to
    pursue said case is of my own free will and volition and that
    there was no force, intimidation, coercion or consideration that
    took place for me to make such decision.

    IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this 15th day


    of March, 2017at the Municipality of Oton.

    for Iloilo City this 15th day of March 2017. Affiant personally came and appeared with

    Affairs on January 10, 2016 at Iloilo City, bearing his photograph and signature, known
    to me as the same person who personally signed the foregoing instrument before me and
    avowed under penalty of law to the whole truth of the contents of said instrument.
