Class- NURSERY
Summers are here in all its glory. And if summers are here holidays can’t
be too far behind. It’s time to enjoy your vacations with family and friends. It
is also time to learn new things from your surroundings and experiences.
Explore new places, listen to stories, try new skills, draw and colour, play
both indoor and outdoor games and keep yourself fit. We wish you an
enjoyable and fun packed summer break from May15th, 2015.
We will meet again after the vacation on 29th June, 2015. Remember
to bring along your Holiday Activity Folder.

Tips to remember
1. Try and do the Holiday homework yourself. You may take help from
your parents for doing project activities.
2. Do colouring with proper strokes.
3. Create family reading time with your parents.
4. Explore your creative side – be it art, music or dance.
5. You are growing up, try to be more independent. Take responsibility for
yourself. e.g. After eating keep your plate yourself in the sink.
6. Keep your room clean- toys and books should be organized.
7. Practice hygiene.
8. Remember to converse in English with family and friends.
9. Be polite while speaking and talk softly.
10.Play some outdoor games in the early morning and cool evening
hours.
11. Practice walking on a straight line drawn on the floor.
12. We can also balance a bean bag while walking on the drawn line.

PAPER CRAFT
Skill: Fine motor skills
2. STREAMER
Take A-4 size sheet of fluorescent paper /newspaper / old magazine
Hold the sheet from one end, tear them into long strips.
Make 20 streamers.

Now paste these streamers on a double sheet of a newspaper with at
least 1 inch gap in between.
Bring them to school in a paper bag. Label the bag with your name, class
and section.
PATTERN WRITING
Skill: Language skill
Learning Objective: Development of eye-hand coordination and pre-
writing skills.

Label your note book with the help of your parents ( name, class and

NUMBER DICE
1. Cut a cardboard as shown in the picture.
2. Tape or glue all six sides of the cube together. Ensure that each side is
of 5 inch length.
3. Your six sided cube is ready for making the dice.
4. Now you may paste or write numbers from 1 to 6
5. Use big bindis or stickers of any shape to show the number value on the
dice.
