Biomolecule Lab Report 4
This lab testing was in search for our CSI Lab research that we prepared for by studying the
basics of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins and some details from the murder victim. We had a
hypothesis: Based on the victim's stomach contents, a victim could have multiple dishes that
correspond with our results. A positive result will have positive in the positive test results
column, and a negative result would have a negative test result in the negative test result
column.

Conclusion
We tested positive for polysaccharides, proteins, and lipids. As well as negative for simple
sugars in the monosaccharide testing. We conclude that the victim could have ingested almost
anything of normalcy in a daily diet, but couldnt have digested something containing simple
sugars such as fruit, candy, dairy, and honey. Although the victim could have ingested
something of complex sugars, polysaccharides, proteins, and lipids. This is the only
distinguishing finding we conclude based on the test results.
