A Steel Structure

Definitions

Welding is deemed to be in accordance with the specification

and for the material to which it is to be used. Gusset plates,
shoe plates, ends, caps, cleats, brackets, stiffeners, bolts,
etc., have been included to the rate of the associated steel
works.

Note:

Specification of works.

b) Rate shall include for:

b.1) All shop fabrication work, making, delivery, unloading

hoisting, erecting and fixing as per detail drawings.

b.2 All welds are 6mm thick fillet weld & allowance for
rolling margin.

b.3) The weight of weld metal in welded constructions.

b.4 Members of any length

b.5 Cutting to size and shape and joints in the running

length.

b.6 Grinding to a smooth, unless otherwise requred.

b.7 Machine drilled bolts, holes, bolts, nuts and washers, cleats,
shoe and gusset plates and all other connections.

.8 After fabrication wire brushed to clean the all steel surfaces

4.00 Horizontal beam B2; Structural steel Section, UNP80 spanning

5.663m in length welded to plate connectors/gusset plate all kg
as per detail drawing. Rate shall include for base plates, anchorage
bolts, painting as specified.

5.00 Roof Rafter Beam; Structural Steel section UB 152*89*16kg/m (IPE60)

welded to plate connectors, haunch beams and all as per detail kg
drawing. Rate shall include for base plates, anchorage bolts, painting
as specified.

6.00 Roofing rafter; Structural steel Section, UNP80 spanning 12.0m

welded to plate connectors, haunch beams and all as per detail kg
drawing. Rate shall include for base plates, anchorage bolts, painting
as specified.

7.00 Horizontal Bracing HBR1; Round tubular profile, ROR 60.3/2.9

welded to plate connectors/gusset plate all as per detail drawing kg

8.00 Wind Bracing VB1; Round tubular profile RHS100*50*3.0mm

9.00 Purlins
Supply & fixing of double channel purlins, 80*45*3mm; welded to
rafter beams (measured separately) at 1000m centers; complete with kg
all the required paint works and all necessary supports.

2.00 Allow sum for any other item required for the construction and SUM
completion of the roof framework, which are not covered under the
above items.

Roof Coverings, Plumbing

Rate shall include

All, rivets, nails, clips, strips and delivering and fixing in positon

Roof plumbing shall be measured & grouped separately;

3.00 Roof covering

Supply & fix 0.7mm aluminimum profile sheeting; fixed with
self drilling screws to the purlins (measured separately) and m
rubber capping to tops of bolts

4.00 Ridges
Supply and fix 0.7mm thk. Aluminimum ridge cap; 650mm girth
(average) in position complete with all necessary roofing screws or m
hooks as required.

5.00 Gutters
Supply and fix moulded mild steel/galvanised 2.5mm thick plate
storm wate gutters; 650mm girth 650mm girth (average) in position m
complete with all necessary roofing screws or hooks as required.

Flashings
6.00 Supply and fix 0.7mm thk aluminimum profile sheeting end flashing;
650mm girth (average) in position complete with all necessary m
roofing screws or hooks as required.
