One day, when I was ten years old, my father bought an old motorcycle. That was
Honda 75. I think it was a small light object and easy to ride. I persuaded my father to teach
me how to ride it. Firstly, my father refused my request and promised that he would teach me
two or three years later, but I still insisted. Finally my father gave up and promised to teach me.
He began by riding the motorcycle around the field in my village. My father was very
patient to give me some instructions. I was very happy when I realized my ability to ride a
motorcycle is good.
One day later, when I was alone at home, I intended to test my riding ability. So, I tried
to ride the motorcycle bravely. The test ran smoothly at the beginning, but when I was going
back home, I must pass a narrow slippery street. I got nervous. I lost my control and fell to the
ditch.
After that, I told my father about the accident. I thought he would be angry and never let
me ride again. To my surprise, he was very proud of me. He gave me some advice on how to
ride motorcycle suavely.

Koala (Phascolarctos cinereus) is one of the Australias unique animals that have
pockets (marsupials) like a kangaroo. The name of Koala comes from the aboriginal language
which means not drinking. It is because Koala is very rarely to drink water. They rely on water
contained in eucalyptus leaves. They can be found along the eastern coast of Australia from
Adelaide to Cape York Peninsula. They also can be found far inside the jungle. They live in
areas which has enough rainfall.
They have a distinctive body shape. They have thick and soft fur and have wide ears.
They also have large claws for climbing trees. The body weight is different one another. For
example, the males can reach 14 kg, while the females in the northern part weighs only 5 kg.
They spend all t time at the top of the tree. They are quiet animals and do not like a fuss.
They spend 20 hours each day by silence and just to sleep. However, during the mating season,
they become more active. Even the males can emit a loud sound and can be heard up to a
radius of 1 km.
In the wild, they only eat eucalyptus leaves. They contain low protein phenolic and
terrene compounds. These compounds can be toxic to other animals. However, they can
neutralize those toxins in their heart. They usually eat at night because during the day, they
always fall asleep. They generally spend about 500 grams of eucalyptus leaves per day. They
will chew them till smooth before swallowing them.

A man in Puerto Rico had a wonderful parrot. There was no another parrot like it.
It was very, very smart. This parrot would say any word-except one. He would not say the name
of the town where he was born. The name of the town was Catano.
The man tried to teach the parrot to say Catano. But the bird would not say the word. At first the
man was very nice, but then he got angry. You are a stupid bird! Why cant you say the word?
Sat CAtano, or I will kill you! but the parrot would not say it. Then the man got to so angry that
the shouted over and over, Say Catano, or Ill kill you! but the bird wouldnt talk.
One day after trying for many hours to make the bird say Catano, the man got very angry. He
picked up the bird and threw him into the chicken house. You are more stupid than the
chickens. Soon I will eat them, and I will eat you, too.
In the chicken house there are four old chickens. They were for Sundays dinner. The man put
the parrot in the chicken house and left.
The next day the man came back to the chicken house. He opened the door and stopped. He
was very surprised at what he saw!
He saw three dead chickens on the floor. The parrot was screaming at the fourth chicken, Say
Catano, or Ill kill you!

Unforgettable Experience
Last year I attended a soccer tournament Danone Cup in the city of Malang. I went there
with my football club. Many football clubs in East Java are registered, but only 32 teams to the
tournament, including my team. I was very pleased to be able to follow the tournament, because
if we could be champions will represent the East Java Province to the National level. If at the
National level could be our winner will represent Indonesia at the International level.
The game started. In the first game we won by a score of 1-0 and the second game we
won 2-0. The next day we faced the third game, I scored the third game in the second half. I
was very happy, because my goal was to bring my team got into the top 16.
In the last 16, we competed in a huge stadium and viewed by hundreds of spectators. My
team faced Persema Junior team. We lost by a score 2-0 . We were all very disappointed.
But disappointment was lost when Arema players came to Persema Stadium. We greeted
and took pictures with them. It was like a dream to meet directly with Robert Albert, Roman
Camelo, Kurnia Meiga and more. We were very pleased to meet them all.
