Shift supervisor for an Alzheimer's/Dementia unit with 90+ bed compacity. Overseeing work from 15+
Resident Care Assistant's (RCA).Answering emergent/non emergent calls from RCA regarding
meidcation questions/problems, resident injury/behavior, walking rounds on units, in constant
communication with numberous doctors and healthcare staff, family member questions/concerns.
During emergent situations, I was assessing the situation/Resident and deciding if the patient needs to
be taken to the hospital and contacting the ambulance if necessary. Ordering and interpreting labs,
taking verbal orders, noting orders written, updating/transcribing orders into the medication
administration record. Addressing scheduling issues with RCA's when scheduling changes made on my
shift.

the Medication Administration Record. Monitor and record vital signs and glucose levels. Document

increasing comfort, physical, social and spiritual well-being by providing assistance with personal
hygiene, physical comfort, nutrition, elimination, prevention of skin breakdown, rehabilitation and safety.
