Safety and Regulatory


CAUTION:

Safety Cautions

Follow all safety labels on the equipment.

CAUTION:

Do not roll the patient table over toes or other extremities.

CAUTION:

Keep fingers and other body parts away from the table
pinch points when the table is in motion.

CAUTION:

The weight limit of the table is 227 kg (500 lb). Exceeding


this limit may result in injury to the patient or
malfunction of the table controls.

CAUTION:

Do not use the table to move patients.

CAUTION:

Avoid damaging the table top. Keep surface clear of


sharp-edged objects.

CAUTION:

Thoroughly check that there is no interference or


possibility of collision between the patient and other
equipment.

CAUTION:

Do not use the table on stairs or steep ramps.

Mobile Patient Table


Overview
Indication for Use

The SPT1 Radiographic Table is intended to be used to support


patients during radiographic examinations. It is a single pedestal,
moveable table designed for maximum maneuverability when
used with a DIRECTVIEW system. It is not intended for moving
patients.
All wheel locking at any position allows for quicker patient set up.
Red pedals lock the wheels and green pedals release them.
You can float the table top 2.0 cm (0.8 in.) transversely and
52.0 cm (20.5 in.) longitudinally for precise placement of the
patient. When using the longitudinal float, you can X-ray the
complete length of the table top (212.0 cm) (83.5 in.) without
moving the patient.

System Operation
Moving and Locking the
Patient Table

CAUTION:

Check the wheel locks before moving a patient. For


maximum efficiency of movement, floors should be flat,
clean, and dry.
The hand grip allows for easy movement in any direction.
The maximum height of an obstacle or threshold is 15.0 mm (0.6
in.).

There are six brake pedals, three red and three green. Press a red
pedal to lock all four wheels:

The wheels at the end of the table have only one lock pedal and

Operating the Table Top


Float

The standard table top position is locked. To allow the table top to
float, press the float control pedal down. This allows you to move
the table top in all four directions by simply pushing it.

pedal.

Adjusting the Table Height Use the table top lift and lower pedals to adjust the table height.
Press the lift pedal, multiple times if necessary, to raise the table to
the desired height.

Maintenance
Cleaning

Follow your hospitals approved cleaning and disinfecting


procedure daily.

Lubricating

Once a year lubricate the slides.

Disposal

The patient table does not contain hazardous materials. Sort out
equipment or parts separately and dispose of them in accordance
with national and regional laws and regulations for waste.
CAUTION:

The elevating system contains minimum quantities of


hydraulic oil.
Contact your authorized Service provider if the table does not
perform to your satisfaction.
