Catlin Group is a global specialty re-insurer. I advised a program of IT dependent business change projects supporting the ambition to achieve $1bn turnover in 2013 which was achieved. Led the development of a new IT governance model to connect with business change. Improved stakeholder satisfaction via clear governance communications and PMO metrics. Improved project performance by 20% by exposing delay and waste. Reduced project costs significantly by aligning resource to match demand.
British Council

British Council is the UKs international organisation for education and cultural relations. Progress on an a program to replace 100 web sites worldwide was unsatisfactory. Actions included; Overhauled PMO reporting to allow directors clear status insight and ability to direct work. Re-built senior stakeholder engagement in line with best practice and the new PMO metrics. Created and committed to a new plan for the next stages of the programme Delivered to plan through effective coaching of key process skills

Delivery Manager, Envisional 2005 - 2009

Anti-piracy intelligence for TV and film studios, anti-fraud intelligence for corporates. I served as Delivery Manager for product and consultancy, executing the investors strategy for growth & exit. Delivered a software portfolio, balancing client priorities, product initiatives and revenue. Increased productivity 10% year on year for 4 years, while reducing the error count to zero. Reduced costs for a hosted service by approximately 25%, while improving performance. Owned the co-development relationship with Verisign. Recruited and managed the delivery teams, with zero churn prior to divestment. Co-ordinated with the Executive Board to match the corporate strategy.

Improved customer and retention revenue for global clients e.g. British Airways, Canadian Tire Delivered integrated bespoke CRM capability within North Americas largest call centre. Created a service framework for globally distributed product & consultancy teams.
Freelance PM, Standard Life Bank 1997-8

Led bespoke software development for the launch of Standard Life Bank. Delivered systems on time, to budget, to support the launch of brand new, telephone only, bank within one of the UKs largest financial groups.
