3. Approve the 2009-10 School Waiver Application that will reduce the school year from 178 instructional
days to 176 days. This allows for two additional professional development days to be built into the
school calendar.

4. Approve 2009-2010 Preschool fees: $1,575 per year.

5. Approve 2009-10 Athletic fees: Junior High School $110.00 (per athlete per sport), High School $140.00
(per athlete per sport), and a family cap of $280.00.

6. Approve Board Policy 6012, Admission of Students Who Are Homeless.

7. Approve a resolution authorizing 2009-2010 membership in the Ohio High School Athletic Association.

8. Approve the acceptance of a $3,000.00 grant from The Intermec Foundation awarded to Cherokee
Elementary School and authorize the treasurer to establish the appropriate fund. These funds will be
used to purchase replacement and new DVDs for classroom use.

9. Approve the acceptance of a $25,200.00 Ohio Department of Education Entry Year Teacher grant
awarded to the Lakota Local School District and authorize the treasurer to establish the appropriate
fund. Funds from this grant will be used to pay stipends to mentor teachers.

10. Accept donations as presented in Appendix A.
