AISI A-8620-M Nickel-ChromiumMolybdenum Alloy Steel The addition of nickel helps increase its tolerance to corrosion and improve its toughness. Designed for maximum fatigue resistance, performance improvement and corrosion tolerance in effectively inhibited corrosive fluids. Can be used with all rod types and ideally suited for use in conjunction with the Type 75 or 90 grade.

Steel Series Features Type 431 Stainless Steel The best corrosion tolerant properties of all Norris polished rods. This material has good toughness with excellent tensile and torque strength. Designed for maximum fatigue resistance, performance improvement and corrosion tolerance in effectively inhibited corrosive fluids. Can be used with all rod types and ideally suited for use with Drive Rods in Progressing Cavity Pump (PCP) applications.
